This theory seems to be gaining ground lately--Emma choosing to sacrifice herself (presumably having Killy cast the curse) to save Henry solves both problems: why Emma would be absent when Henry needs her, and what to do about Emma since JMo seems uninterested in reprising the role after her one episode. (Her tweets on her last day sounded very final.) It lets Emma go out as a heroine--and of course, we know that death is meaningless on the show since Killy can eventually pop down to the Underworld and have his good buddy Arthur return her. (Again assuming that JMo would agree to return for that.)

And if there’s an off chance that Kitsowitz actually recall their own mythology (and haven’t completely jettisoned it as too clumsy)...I’ll just throw it out there that Killy doesn’t have to be the one to cast the Dark Curse using Emma’s heart. RUMPLE could do it by using the thing that a former Dark One loved most. (Of course, that assumes that Killy loves Emma more than he loves his ego, which........not something we’ve seen onscreen, but since when does that matter when it comes to advancing the plot?) Rumple casting the curse would serve the purpose of keeping him EVOL and the hands of Our Saintly Hero Killy clean, but it could also give us an amazing scene between Bobby and JMo (he is one of her best scene partners). Also, if Rumple chose to cast the curse, we might get some good Rumbelle and Rumbelle family stuff (Belle would certainly be willing to make sacrifices to save Henry, so she would be onboard, but their goodbye scene would break our souls...).

Not to belittle what we do as actors, but my wife Helen is a teacher, and she makes a real difference to kids. So it's unusual to see people thinking of us as something special.

At least that's when I started getting bombarded with illiterate, fallacy-ridden anon hate for pointing out the fallacies in their pro-CS, anti-SF/SH/SQ arguments. They haven't changed a bit. And why should they? The creators have coddled them since day one and cultivated this toxic fandom environment.

Yeah, I first started getting hate during season 2, for a funny photoset I made that wasn’t even really anti-Hook or anti-CS.

But the past year it’s really picked up. You’d think once Neal died it wouldn’t be so bad, but it’s just become worse.

Decided to keep this a little more low key this year, but it's still important!
