Cozy Hot-Water Bottle Covers for Chilly Spring Evenings These easy hot water bottle covers are a quick sewing project. Draw or chalk around the hot-water bottle on paper or directly on the fleece fabric allowing for seams and extra 3cm around the top opening. Cut out the front. Cut out the back in two fabric pieces and allow 5cm extra for overlap and hems on each piece. Sew these hems first. With right sides together place the overlapping back pieces on the front piece & sew all around. Turn right side out.
