Kumani steeled herself, her eyes locked onto the subject of her affections as Gwyneira looked over her homework, turning a page every now and again, before sometimes lifting a hand, producing a shimmer of ice and demon magic to check her work in a visible form.

“Gwen...?”

Kumani muttered, sitting down beside Elsa’s daughter when she looked up at the lioness with a smile and patted the space next to her.

“Yes?”

Gwyneira asked, moving her work off her lap and putting it into a folder sat behind her, so she could turn and give Kumani her full attention.

Kumani felt her breath catch in her throat when the demon princess centered her attention on her, having her beautiful purple eyes fully on her sending Kumani’s mind into a tizzy of lovestruck emotions, only shaking her head to come out of them when Gwyneira called her name, her gentle voice concerned.

“What do you need, Kumani?” the ice queen’s daughter asked.

Kumani swallowed before forcing herself to blurt out her question.

“Will you go to prom with me?” Kumani asked, squeezing her eyes shut, expecting rejection, but they flew open when she heard the other girl gently begin to laugh.

“Of course.” Gwen smiled, smoothing down he dress as she stood. “You don’t need to be so nervous, Kumani. when have I ever said no to you?”
