If I wanted someone to have their nose so deep in my business, I’d have declared myself hetero and married a man. Christ. If I didn’t know you were a woman, I’d have thought this meme was made by a man, especially with the “men are trash” sign near the feminist strawman.

Anyway, women who are pagan and/or do astrology or tarot readings aren’t harming us. They don’t oppress us. Most women even practice paganism solo, or in a group with other women.

Male-led religions (not just Abrahamic, but those are the prime examples here) are not only patriarchal, they have thousands of years of oppression behind them. Not just to women, but to people of other religions, POC, LGB people, and more. It’s justified things from preventing a woman’s bodily autonomy to spousal abuse, and everything in between and beyond that.

Religious women often perpetuate this, and sure, it’d be great if we all held hands and sang kumbaya -- but it can’t happen if those women spit on other women who aren’t like them. I’m not obligated to respect a homophobic het woman or a racist woman, just because those women are also women.

Anyway, costs $0.00 to empathize with women who have been harmed by right-wing, racist, homophobic, or Christian women. I’m not going to make this an overblown post, but I saw it and grew irritated, so I’m saying my piece.
