“As far as getting older... I actually look forward to it. Think of the stories I’ll have by then... My life will have settled down quite a bit, and I’m not sure what that will look like, but the peace and quiet is something to look forward to, at least.” He squashes his cheeks thoughtfully. “Hopefully I’ll have gotten rid of this babyface, too, and my true chiseled features will finally be able to shine. Like an angel from marble...”

Plus isn't there *some* evidence that dogs digest carbs better than their wild relatives, due to their long association with humans? Anyway! Yes! What you feed your dog is your own business! Also I am curious about the results of your experiment, if you choose to share later.

I believe there was a study published pretty recently showing specific genetic mutations making domestic dogs more efficient at utilizing starch than wild wolves? 

Not that I’d use that as an excuse to start feeding my dog veggie sandwiches, as they still seem to be built for eating meat and having adapted to surviving on carbs/starch. And don’t hold me to anything on that, please. I haven’t read the study and probably couldn’t if I tried.

Dwen’s three masquerade dresses, if only it were achievable in game:

Frost Ghost - I remember a quest in Central Coerthas Highlands where you’re sent to kill will-o’-the-wisps, because they’ve been leading Ishgardian soldiers astray at night. I figured, there must be stories of ghosts with lanterns, who do that. Would make for a neat costume.

Naval Admiral/Commander - Dwen spent a year in Limsa Lominsa, learning from the arcanists there. She’d no doubt have been inspired by the more official uniforms.

Summoner - Having been nowhere near primals, Dwen actually can’t be a summoner. But, they’re still got a neat aesthetic with the horn and all.

The expansions are VERY heavy on their themes, so I think it's to be expected that if The Theme isn't what a player personally likes, they are, well... fucked. I was very invested in Ishgard, and am negatively interested in Ala Mhigo, so the start of Stormblood was hard for me. (I am however invested in Au Ra, and super in Japanese stuff, so luckily, at least half this expansion is also 'for me'.)

I think that’s very insightful and yeah. I was wondering since the Doma part of the announcement whether splitting the story between two separate places was a good idea, but it actually seems to have worked out super well so far!

I haven't been able to find the 1995 edition anywhere (other than bad quality youtube bootleg). Any recommendations on where to look for it?

I just did a cursory search online and the few viable-looking links I could find to stream it were impossibly slow to load and had far too many pop-ups for my liking. As a more legal alternative, I would recommend checking your local library! Many will have a variety of DVDs available to borrow, and if that specific branch hasn’t got it, they may be hooked into a wider lending database and track down a copy for you. (I know my hometown library is part of a much larger regional system which routinely trucks books/DVDs/etc. all over to different branches which request them.) In fact, I just checked the online database search on their website for ‘Persuasion 1995′ and can see they definitely do have five copies of the DVD.
