As part of Misha Collins’ #GishFlammableFear, I am writing down a fear of mine and letting it out into the world so that hopefully I can let it go.
I fear not loving myself because I’m too scared of what others will think. I know who I am, but I frequently hate myself because so many others don’t like how I look, how I speak, my personality etc. Too often I allow other’s opinions to influence the love I have for myself. I fear never being able to let that go so I can truly love who I am regardless of society’s definition of perfection.
Maybe with this little post, I can let this go.
