Howdy! Amazingly, i came up with the idea to crochet the Hamilton cast, but it looks like you beat me to Alex at least haha. I was wondering if you had some tips on how to get that jacket done because I am at a true loss, I'd appreciate the tips
Hi there!
My basic coat pattern looks like this:
It’s a rectangle with holes at the top for where the sleeves will go. I like to make it vertically with short rows for the sleeves, but I know other people who prefer to make similar items in horizontal rows bottom to top.
Once you’ve got your basic rectangle, crochet around the edges, including chains or fscs across the tops of the arm holes. I like to do decreases around the top as well to shorten the collar a bit. When you go up and down the sides, do fpdcs to get a folded lapel look:
I then crochet the sleeves into the base of the armholes, but if you prefer you can make the sleeves as separate tubes and sew them on. Tada! That’s how I made my Hamilton coat.

Okay but Alex getting super overwhelmed by his affection for Lafayette and just hugging him out of the blue. Even better if Laffs is sitting down doing something else and Alex comes up and hugs him from behind. Or something along those lines imagine Laff's face he'd be so close to crying i swear

also maybe a sleepover at herc's house. he comes through on a his promise to show alex all the classic disney movies and they gather blankets and pillows and make a fort. in the end john, herc, and laff are curled around alex (maybe john and alex holding hands/hands almost touching, or laff snuggling up to alex, or herc being used as a pillow for all three) and alex is warm for the first time since he got there

If I really don't like how messy my notes ended up during class, how would I go about redoing them? And i like keeping everything in one place, but would i need a separate notebook for that?
