Okay so

She keeps bringing him gifts

cupcakes and rings and little oddities she finds traveling

and she asks all about the things that happen to him because she's so interested in his life and what he does, he interests her

she doesn't even care that he's a manbearpig because honestly, she's seen uglier

and it progresses to taking day trips on her TARDIS to different planets, trying the food there and collecting little oddities and eventually she gives him a room to store all the stuff he collects

at some point during this traveling a Blue Lantern ring is found and given to Larfleeze

and eventually he has a permanent room and she's visiting him all the damn time and they go for month long expeditions and then reappear the same day and it's fun and he's accumulating buttloads of stuff and it's just an easy sort of friendship
