A limited edition #glenlivet 12 first fill. Aged exclusively in American white oak. Now 'first fill' is a interesting term. It doesn't mean it's the first spirit to go into the cask. It's the first scotch whisky to go into a particular cask. In reality this cask probably housed bourbon prior to ageing this Glenlivet - which is a good thing. There are some wonderful notes flowing through with vanilla, honey and dried fruits providing y the sweetness while there is a bit of peppery spice which provides good cut through.
