First look at the (FINALLY) finalized version of the protagonists in my wlw webtoon and novel-"Where the Oleanders Weep"

It's dark romance with some pretty heavy themes so viewers' discretion is advised! I'll reveal the tags a week before I publish the novel.

Clara starts suspecting that something sinister might be lurking behind this New Girl Lucy’s perfect face. She might just be… the very demon that Clara tried summoning!!! Clara now has to contend with her growing feelings for Lucy, as well as being caught up in the battle between heaven vs hell…

I’m making a zine called The Tenth Muse where I turn Sappho’s poetry into comics- here’s her design so far!

I love queer history and poetry, and a major contributor to my awakening as a lesbian was reading poetry by Sappho, the poet Plato referred to as “The Tenth Muse.”

So I’m picking my 10 favorite poems/excerpts, and turning them into comics that everyone can read for free- to make the sharing of an important wlw figure more accessible to people who may not know about the impact she’s had.

I referenced as many artworks of Sappho as I could to get her looking just right and finally settled on hairstyle C, but I figured it’d be cool to show the runner ups. I’ll be posting updates on Reddit and YouTube as well as posting full comics on Tapas and Webtoon once they’re done! Social links can be found here!
