Artist's notes: Had technical difficulties at the last second so my submission is a picture of a picture ahah! However, I wanted to convey some tenderness between the transfem Light and her L. I would title this one "Just Before" since it's intended to be before their first kiss. Thank you for the lovely prompt gl6mp!!

i really like how you draw L and light :3c they look soft and squishy like the perfect blend of human stylization imo it's really appealing to the eye

oh my goodness, thank you so much, thats so kind!!!! i'm actually still trying to figure out the best way to draw them hehe - i enjoy more realistic human faces a lot (i just think human faces are so interesting) but also want to capture a bit more of the style of the manga and anime and the goofiness of L's face? thank you again :'') <3

hi i just wanted to stop by again as the DOCTORFAYGO guy from ao3 that commented on your fic bc i cannot stress enough how Life-changing your fic was for us. Like holy shit. we have reread that one fanfic 500 times (chapter 13 was the awakening) im rereading it again bc i just love the way you wrote the characters so so much and i just cannot let go of it. Ever. i tell my friends about it constantly and send them snippets of my favorite parts and then go on long tangents explaining how meaningful it was for us like Aagghhhhhh!!!! This is profound . Thank you

oh my god TTTT thank you so much. you have no idea how much a comment like this means to me. it's always been a dream of mine to have created a work that a reader would reread over and over again, just like the books my favorite authors have provided me. and the fact that it was one of your trans awakenings??? huge. honestly i'm so happy to hear that. intimacy gives wake to vulnerability and trust, and god knows L and light both need that.

thank you again. <3 i haven't really been writing much fanfiction with me working on my original novel, but it's comments like this that further encourage my writing to progress no matter what it is.
