Ok I’m still sappy and missing GLA like crazy. It’s only a few days each year, but through those days I’ve forged relationships that span states, time zones, and continents. It’s a place where strangers become friends and friends become family. Having that much love, kindness, and caring in one place is more than I could ever wish for. This time, a lot of us ended up trying to out-compliment each other, because @gracegordonofficial dared us all to spend the whole time responding to each compliment with “thank you, it’s true.” I’m trying to carry that self love and self confidence into my day to day life now. I am accepting the truth of compliments and trying to only say “I’m sorry” when I really mean it.
