Something  wasn't  quite  right  that  day—Furina  wasn't  exactly  sure  what  was  wrong.  At  first,  she  believed  that  perhaps  she  was  knocking  things  over  with  her  tail  as  that  wasn't  something  completely  out  of  the  realm  of  possibility,  but  then  a  vase  fell  onto  the  ground  while  her  tail  was  coiled  around  her  leg.  It  was  a  hopeless  attempt  to  stop  that  very  thing  from  happening.

She  huffed  in  frustration  and  confusion,  swinging  around  to  glare  frustrated  at  the  vase  with  one  of  her  favourite  plants  within.

❝Excusez-moi?❞  She  flared  her  nostrils  in  anger,  pointing  at  it  like  she  was  scolding  the  vase  for  its  misgivings.

❝Who  said  you  can  fall  over?  Hielle.❞  Furina  ridiculed  the  vase  before  walking  over  to  start  cleaning  up  the  glass  before  she  heard  slamming  of  the  door  as  well.  What  was  going  on?  This  was  getting  ridiculous.

❝Is  someone  there?  Come  out  right  this  instant!❞  Furina  growled,  barring  her  teeth  while  wrapping  her  tail  around  her  legs  again  as  she  tried  not  to  get  completely  terrified  by  the  whole  situation.  Something  was  there  and  she  didn't  like  it.

Was  it  a  ghost?  Ghosts  existed,  sure,  but  wouldn't  she  have  come  across  any  by  now?Then  someone  must  have  invited  them  into  her  abode!

Her  hands  went  instinctively  up  to  her  head  as  she  begged  herself  to  breathe.  It  came  out  in  stressed  quick  breaths  and  her  voice  cracked  as  she  continued  to  speak.

❝I  will  have  you  know—I  have  some  scary  friends  that  you  will  not  like!  I  mean—I  have  powers  too!  So  enough  of  whatever  this  is!❞

Upon ending up in Teyvat due to a strange rift, the young demon slayer had to learn to adapt to the change of things.

He kept the unique aqua colored gemstone known as a vision in a satchel he carries, he wasn’t sure why one was given to him. Did the divine beings of this world took pity on him to grace him with this?

They must’ve as he was given to the element of wind or Anemo as they call it here, his fingers could feel it’s divine elemental energy flowing within as the Shiko Jewel shard in the back of his neck was resonating with it, giving him a boost on top of the elemental energy flowing through his body.

When ending up in this bizarre land, he was dropped in the nation of Inazuma so maybe he could blend in given the attire people wore there, made sense too. Best not to have many eyes on him as he was unsure if any demons made it here too, he needs to be on guard.

As he walked, he couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched. It felt like invisible hands trying to tighten around his throat like how Naraku had control over him, it was unsettling. He traveled far until he could make out a canyon esque settting, where did he end up now?

Columbina rarely visits the Favonius Keep. She is welcomed there anytime, of course, but she finds the travel there to be tedious, especially when there's little of interest for her.

Today, however, she'll make the journey over. There's a saying about curiosity killing the cat after all - but she isn't a cat, as far as she's concerned. She did overhear talk from a few knights a few evenings ago, about tidying up the keep before getting 'ripped a new one' .. whatever that means.

"... It's busy." She notes. Much too loud for her. She turns around, shelving the idea of a visit and instead planning a return to her quiet hall.

"Huh, whoever could that be, the great Barbatos himself perhaps?", he feigns to ponder, knowing well whose responsible for those peaceful sleeps. In which case, Lohen had ample time on his hands these days, he had every right to pass by. Beside once a Drude is let in and not chased away, of course he'd stick around as he pleases. "Haha, you make it sound like i can't come by and make sure the bed ain't feeling too cold tonight", there is definitely another meaning to these words.

That cheeky hint to his smile was something she always loved to see, something that was almost reassuring in a way. Even his lighthearted teasing had Ri-ha giggling, the genuine affection in her gaze all too clear as she scooted back across her mattress to create space for Lohen to join her.

" You know you're always welcome here , day or night . I'm just glad to see you . " Pushing her blankets aside it was then she gently pat the mattress in front of her, encouraging him to lay down instead of stay poking through the wall. " It's funny ... I was just thinking about you , actually . "
