A Birthday Glamping Adventure at Viewscape Nature's Park

Here I am again! 😊 Just wanted to share with you my latest travel experience — something simple, spontaneous, and full of nature. This week, we celebrated my friend’s birthday with an overnight nature trip, and it was such a refreshing escape from the city. 🎉 The Plan: Nature + Birthday + Glamping! My friend’s birthday was on July 5, so we decided to book a quick overnight getaway on July 4–5. We found this charming spot in Tanay, Rizal called Viewscape Nature's Park. We reserved a Glamping Room with Veranda (good for 4 pax) for ₱3,500 per night — super worth it! To make things easier, I slept at my friend’s place the night before (July 3), so we could head out early in the morning and commute to Tanay together. 🚗 The Commute: A Little Adventure Originally, we thought of taking the train from Taguig, but we discovered there’s a UV Express that goes directly to Antipolo. We paid ₱60 each, then transferred to an e-bike for ₱20 each. Since we were carrying a lot of bags, we paid for one extra person to give us more space (worth it! 😂). The e-bike dropped us off at Cogeo Gate 2, where we took a short break and ate at Jollibee while waiting for my friend’s boyfriend — it was their monthsary, and they had gifts prepared for each other 🥰. He also packed food for all of us to bring to the mountain. Sweet, right? 🚙 The Long Ride to Maysawa After lunch, we hopped on a jeep going to Maysawa. The trip was long but scenic, and we only paid ₱60 each. Once we arrived, we had to take a tricycle to Viewscape — and here’s the twist: it was just a 2-minute ride, but they charged ₱150. Kinda pricey for the distance, but hey, that’s part of the travel experience. 😅

🌄 Arrival at Viewscape Nature’s Park When we arrived… WOW. The view was breathtaking. Totally worth the journey. The staff greeted us so warmly and even helped carry our bags to our room. Our glamping room had 2 beds, a veranda with a view, and basic facilities. It’s important to note that: 📴 No Wi-Fi (but data works, though the signal is unstable). 🔌 Charging is via USB ports only (we didn’t bring adapters, oops!). 🔦 Since the place uses solar power, the lights go off at night — so a flashlight is a must! Thankfully, their customer service was amazing. They even helped us charge our power bank when we were running low. Big thanks to them! 🏕 Final Thoughts Despite the minor inconveniences, the entire trip was peaceful, fun, and full of laughs. The best part? Being surrounded by nature, breathing fresh mountain air, and spending quality time with good friends.

Tanay never disappoints. If you’re looking for a quick escape from the city without breaking the bank, Viewscape Nature’s Park is definitely worth checking out.
