🤍 The Last Pages of May
May 28, 2027 Today was another catch-up day with my friend. 😂 I visited my friend in BGC today because she'll be moving to another company soon. She has been really stressed at work lately, so we decided to meet up and spend some time together. I went straight there after work. It was raining, but thankfully it wasn't too heavy by the time I arrived. We went to Mitsukoshi Mall and had a Japanese dinner. I also told her that I was craving matcha, and luckily we found Warabimochi Kamakura. Although their drinks are quite expensive—the small size costs around ₱260—they were actually worth it because the drinks were delicious.
We spent hours chatting and catching up. I also stayed overnight at her place. Later, we bought Melona ice cream from a Korean grocery store. I chose the taro flavor because it's currently a popular flavor in Korea.
I also brought some bread with me. There's a cheese bread from Casa Elmira that I really love. Sadly, it has become more expensive because of inflation. A pack used to cost ₱90, but now it's ₱120. Still, I think it's worth every peso because it tastes so good.
We were actually planning to visit Fusion Alley in Manila, but we ended up canceling because of the rain. There are a lot of street food vendors there, and it's been getting popular on social media lately. I've been wanting to try it for a while now, so hopefully next time.
I truly hope that this new chapter in my friend's career brings her more happiness and less stress. She even told me, "I'll let you know if my new company is good because I might convince you to transfer there too." 😂 Her new job is work-from-home, which sounds amazing, so I'm hoping everything works out well for her.
I also went home early because I needed to accompany my mom the next morning to buy clothes for a wedding she'll be attending this June. My sister also treated us to Lola Nena's Toasted Siopao, and we bought some drinks and pancit as well. It was such a hot day, so the cold drinks were definitely appreciated.
This month is ending soon. Although I didn't have many exciting adventures and spent most of my time busy and stressed from work, I'm still grateful for the small moments that allowed me to slow down and reconnect with the people I care about.
Hopefully, after this month, the next pages of my life will be brighter and filled with better memories. See you again soon. 🤍
💍 No One Dies From Marrying Late
May 23, 2027
Today was the bridal shower for my friend Jenny, who will be getting married this June. I reserved an event venue in Aguirre, BF Homes called Turtle Family KTV, a place I used to visit often with my friends back when I was working in BF. Aside from the KTV rooms, they also have a restaurant on the ground floor that serves food, making it a great place for celebrations.
I arrived early with the cake that I had customized from Bien by Tracy, which is also located in BF Homes. We spent quite some time debating what kind of cake to give Jenny, but in the end, we chose a simple and elegant design. Honestly, I think it turned out perfectly. 😂 Since I arrived ahead of everyone else, I secured the room and ordered our food in advance so we could enjoy our meals together while celebrating.
The whole gathering felt so nostalgic. Although our group wasn't complete because one of our friends is currently working as a seafarer and won't be back until November, it was still wonderful to see everyone again. We laughed a lot and even revisited some of our childhood crushes. 😂 I remembered that I once had a crush on one of my high school friends. One of my friends is still connected with him on Facebook and told me that he's now living in Poland with his wife. I was honestly amazed at how far life had taken him—from Asia all the way to Europe. I'm genuinely happy for him.
After the celebration, we went to Starbucks and continued talking about Jenny's wedding plans. The cake had a flower decoration on it, and by coincidence, the flower ended up right in front of Rose. Naturally, we started teasing her, saying that she would be the next bride. She got so excited, and we couldn't stop laughing. 😂 It rained heavily that night, but by the time we left the café, the rain had already stopped. It was actually Jenny's brother's birthday that day, and we originally planned to buy him a cake. Unfortunately, we finished so late that all the bakeries were already closed, so we ended up not getting one. Sorry, Jenny's brother! 😅 The entire evening was filled with laughter, memories, and meaningful conversations. But as I watched my friend prepare for one of the biggest milestones in her life, I found myself thinking about my own future too.
Sometimes, I dream about getting married and building a life with the person I love. But reality reminds me that marriage is a serious commitment, and there are many things that need careful thought and consideration. That's why I keep reminding myself that it's okay to get married later in life. No one dies from getting married late, but many people suffer from marrying the wrong person. Choosing a life partner is one of the most important decisions we will ever make because that person will help shape not only our future but also the future of the family we hope to build someday.
For now, I'd rather wait for the right person than rush into something just because everyone else seems to be moving ahead. And honestly, I think that's perfectly okay. 🤍
Life Has Been Quiet Lately, But My Mind Hasn’t
Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I opened this Tumblr again. 🤍
I honestly got lazy to write this month because nothing much has really been happening lately, and at the same time, I just haven’t been in the mood these past few days because of stressful things happening at work.
I was so stressed to the point that I even wrote my resignation letter and started submitting my resume to other companies. Some of them even followed up with interview invitations already. 😭
But thankfully, things are okay again now. It’s back to the usual kind of stress — not the super toxic office stress anymore — so I decided to stay for now.
I know… kinda funny, right? Hahaha.
That’s also why I haven’t had many life updates lately, aside from our plan tomorrow to surprise our friend who’s getting married this June. I’ll definitely update you guys about that soon. 🥹
I’ve been hooked on this Korean drama, Goldland, on Disney+. I highly recommend it! Even though I was already stressed from work, this drama managed to stress me out even more because of the villain. 😭 But honestly, it’s really worth watching
Also, a random cat suddenly showed up at our house the other day. For a moment, I really thought we were about to adopt it, but then the owner came looking for it, so my mom returned the cat. 😭
We still don’t have a cat at home, but maybe someday we will. Maybe next time. 🐈🤍
At the end of the month, I’ll also be visiting my friend because both of us have been really stressed lately. We just want to catch up, rest a little, and talk about everything happening in our lives.
Anyway, I’ll try to post more updates about myself here again since this Tumblr has basically become my online diary at this point. 🤍✨
Part III — Sleepless Nights, Soft Mornings, and Heading Home from CaSoBe 🌙🌊✨
I woke up around 2 AM and couldn’t go back to sleep because my stomach was hurting so badly. I really love milk, but lately every time I drink it, my stomach reacts badly. I’m starting to think I might be becoming lactose intolerant as I get older. 😭
The restroom was outside the room since it was shared. At first, I was a little scared to go out alone at night, but it turned out fine because the whole area was well-lit, so it didn’t feel scary at all.
After that, I couldn’t sleep anymore, so we just woke up early and had breakfast before heading to the beach. The morning beach felt so calm because there weren’t many people yet.
I wore my pink OOTD that day. Honestly, I was a bit shy because I’m not used to wearing colorful outfits or bikinis since I don’t like standing out too much—but I still tried my best. Hahaha. 😆
We also went up the tower where you could see the whole resort from above. After that, we went swimming again, but skipped the beach since it was already low tide. Instead, we stayed longer at the pool and just enjoyed the last moments of the trip.
We left the pool around 9 AM because we suddenly got hungry again. Hahaha. Check-out was at 12 PM, but we decided to leave early at around 11 AM and called the tricycle driver to pick us up. He brought us back to the bus terminal.
From Calatagan, we rode a bus to PITX, which cost ₱280 per person.
We were so hungry and sleepy during the trip because all we had eaten was bread. 😭 We arrived at PITX around 4 PM and immediately had dinner at a Japanese restaurant because we were starving.
After that, I booked an Angkas ride going home since I was already too tired and sleepy to commute. This trip was really fun. I told myself I wanted to spend more time in nature this year, and I’m really happy we made it happen this month.
I would definitely go back to this place and highly recommend it to my friends as well. 🤍 Bye for now… and let’s see where our next trip takes us this year. :)
—
Part II — Golden Hour, Coffee Dates, and a Quiet Night in CaSoBe ☕🌙✨
In the afternoon, after resting for a while, we changed into our beach outfits. Honestly, it was a little embarrassing because I don’t really know how to swim… but I made up for it with my outfit instead. Hahaha. 😆
I wore a yellow bikini I bought from Shein, and my skirt was borrowed from my friend — very summer, very cute. ☀️
Of course, we spent the rest of the afternoon doing what we do best: taking photos in almost every corner of the resort. Hahaha.
As the sun started to set, we went to the café and I ordered a vanilla latte with a pulled pork sandwich, which cost ₱260 in total. We stayed there for a while, right by the beachfront in front of the café, just enjoying the view and letting ourselves rest.
Dinner was around 8 PM since our lunch was still sitting heavy in our stomachs — the servings earlier were so big that we even had to take the leftovers out. 😆
That night, we stayed outside for a while and just enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Everything felt so peaceful and calm… the kind of peace that makes you want to stay a little longer.
The only downside? Mosquitoes. 😭 I was getting bitten nonstop, but thankfully the place was still too pretty to complain too much.
We went to sleep at around 11 PM, and before bed, we spent a little time staring at the roof above us — it had the cutest tiny star details, which made everything feel softer and more cozy at night. ✨
I’d honestly love to come back again someday. The cocoon area alone was already worth it — it was seriously so cute. 🤍
Part I — April 22–23 Trip to Calatagan, Batangas ☀️🌴
On the night of April 22, I stayed at my friend’s house so we could leave together early the next morning. We only had light snacks that night to save money, and since we needed to wake up early, we decided to eat simple and sleep early. I bought BreadTalk and got my favorite bread. I also bought some for my friend because I thought she might like it, and surprisingly, she really loved the spicy chicken floss. 🤍
We also bought a few groceries and small snacks in advance for the next day so we’d have something to bring with us. We couldn’t buy too much food though because the resort had a corkage fee, haha. In the end, we spent ₱189 each since we just split the total bill in half. That night, we laughed so much and had endless stories to tell. We were laughing so hard that, once again, we ended up sleeping late. Hahaha. The next morning, we left the house at 6 AM and arrived at the DLTB terminal in Pasay. Unfortunately, there was no direct trip to Calatagan anymore. We later found out we should have gone to PITX instead. Since we were already there, we just took a bus going to Lian, Nasugbu, which cost ₱271 each. We waited for almost an hour and finally left around 7 AM.
We arrived in Lian, Nasugbu at almost 11 AM. From there, we had to ride a jeep going to the tricycle terminal near the public market, where we could get a tricycle going to our resort in CaSoBe.
The jeep ride took around 20–30 minutes, and we paid ₱90. Since I was so excited, I forgot to bring my sunglasses, so we bought cheap ones along the way for ₱50 each just to complete the summer vibe. 😆
On the other side of the road, we found the tricycle terminal going to CaSoBe Resort. We paid ₱250 for the ride, and we also got the driver’s number so we could contact him later to pick us up and bring us back to the bus terminal for our trip back to Manila.
When we arrived, the place was really nice. The resort was clean, even the restrooms, and there were plenty of them everywhere, which was very convenient. The staff were also very accommodating.
We arrived at almost 12noon, but check-in was still at 2 PM, so we had lunch first at their restaurant. We ordered sinigang, pork sisig, and halo-halo, which cost around ₱1,300 in total.
The sinigang was really good, especially because we were already starving by then. The halo-halo, though, wasn’t as creamy as we expected, huhu, but overall the food was still good. After lunch, we went to the beachfront and took pictures while waiting for check-in.
They also required a ₱1,000 deposit, which was refundable upon check-out.
We checked in at exactly 2 PM, and they even escorted us to our room by electric bike, which made us feel a little sosyal, haha. 🤍
The room was ₱5,700 for one night. It had a bed good for two, air-conditioning, toiletries, an electric kettle, and complimentary coffee and creamer. Although the bathroom was shared, it was very clean. The door lock was also automatic — we had to use our bracelet key to open it, which was actually a nice touch.
We changed clothes, took even more pictures (as usual 😆), and went swimming. We made sure to put on a lot of sunscreen so we wouldn’t get too dark. After that, we headed to the pool and tried the slide, which was super fun.
The place was really beautiful, and it wasn’t too crowded since it wasn’t the weekend, so everything felt peaceful and quiet. There was also a TV in the room, and we couldn’t hear any noise from outside, which made the stay even more relaxing. ☀️
To be continued… 🤍
A Birthday at Home and a Reminder That There Is No Right Timeline in Life
April 16, 2026
Today is my younger brother’s birthday, and we celebrated it simply at home. 🤍
We only had one visitor… the neighbor’s child we’ve been taking care of for the past five years. It’s funny because when we first met her, she was still such a tiny baby — and now she’s already 9 years old.
It’s been such a long time since I last posted a picture of us together, and seeing her now made me realize how fast time really flies.
Her parents are also finally getting married this June after being together for 14 years. And honestly, that made me think — there really is no “right” timeline for marriage or life. Everyone has their own pace, their own story, and their own perfect timing.
So congratulations to them. 🤍
And of course, happy birthday to my brother, who decided to stay home from work today because, according to him, he didn’t want his birthday to get ruined by work stress. Hahaha.
Honestly… valid. 😆
April 15, 2026
Yesterday’s episode of: “Paano Ako Uuwi?” 😭
I was on my way home when I saw sweet potatoes. And because I clearly make great financial decisions, I bought them immediately.
66 pesos gone. ✨
Then I checked my wallet…
22 pesos left. 🙂
The jeep to Walter costs 13 pesos, which means after that, I would only have 9 pesos left.
The tricycle fare home?
12 pesos. 😭
So there I was, standing dramatically in public, doing mental math like my life depended on it.
22 - 13 = 9
9 < 12
Conclusion: stranded.
I still had a 1,000 peso bill in my wallet, but absolutely not. I refuse to hand a driver 1,000 pesos for a 12 peso fare and become the main character of his kwento for the next five business days.
So I thought, “Okay… maybe I should buy something and break the 1,000.”
I went to Watsons to buy vitamins for Butter and Cream. The total was 97.50 pesos.
I froze.
Because that meant my change would only be 2.50 pesos
Still kulang. 😭
At this point, I was ready to accept my fate and maybe live forever inside Walter Mart.
But then—
the cashier looked at me and said:
“Ma’am, wala po akong centavos.”
And instead of 2.50 pesos, she gave me 3 pesos.
THREE PESOS.
Exactly the amount I needed to complete my 12 peso tricycle fare.
I have never felt so blessed by 50 centavos in my entire life. 😭✨
So yes, I made it home safely… with sweet potatoes, vitamins for Butter and Cream, and a deeper appreciation for small miracles.
April 07, 2026 Today marks three beautiful years since Butter and Cream came into our lives.
We may not know their exact birthday, but April 7, 2023 will always be the day that matters most — the day Mama brought them home, and the day our little family became whole.
Three years… and somehow, it still feels like yesterday.
From the moment they arrived, everything changed. Our home grew warmer, our days a little brighter, and even the quiet moments started to feel full. Butter and Cream didn’t just become our pets — they became our comfort, our joy, and our tiny sources of magic.
They have this simple, unspoken way of making everything better. A bad day softens with their presence. A heavy heart feels lighter with their cuddles. And even the most ordinary days become something special because they’re in it.
Looking back, I can’t help but smile at how much love these two little girls have brought into our lives. It’s the kind of love that’s gentle, constant, and quietly powerful — the kind you don’t realize you needed until it’s there.
And if I could choose all over again, I would still choose them — in every lifetime.
A Gentle Start to April — Finding Peace, Progress, and Small Wins Along the Way March slipped away quietly… and somehow, that felt comforting. 🌿 No loud moments. No chaos. Just a kind of peace I didn’t realize I needed.
After two years, I shared a drink again with my coworkers. The last time was November 2023. I’ve been trying to avoid alcohol, but sometimes, pakikisama becomes its own language of connection. And for that moment, I allowed myself to be present.
This month also brought me back to old friendships — I reunited with my high school friends, and it felt like coming home to a version of myself I almost forgot. 🤍
At the same time, we slowly continued fixing our house. It’s not perfect yet — there’s still so much to improve — but compared to last December, I can finally see the difference. Progress, no matter how small, is still progress. Now, I’m looking forward to something new — a summer trip. ☀️ So today, April 1, marks my Day 1.
I’m currently 43–44 kg, and I’m giving myself three weeks to become a better version of me — not just physically, but mentally too. Showing up. Staying consistent. Trying again. Fighting. 🤍 And beyond my own little world, I’m quietly hoping for something bigger — peace. I pray for an end to conflicts, for lighter days, and for a world where no one has to struggle just to live. May the coming days be softer. Kinder. Better — for all of us. 🌏✨
A Night of Good Food, Old Memories, and Wedding News
March 13, 2026
Today is my day off, and this morning my sister and I went to the dentist. It was a clinic recommended by my friend Rich. 🙂
Honestly, I wish we had discovered this dentist earlier. They were very gentle and nice to talk to, although it felt a little awkward because all the dentists were men. Haha.
In the afternoon, my friend and I planned to meet and go to a bar at Festival Mall. But when we tried to make a reservation, we found out the place was under renovation. So we decided to look for another place while waiting for our friend Rose to finish her duty at the hospital we ate some snacks and bread. I suggested BreadTalk, but unfortunately my favorite bread wasn’t available.
Before I even arrived at Festival, something unexpected happened. While I was walking on the street, I passed by someone I dated four years ago. I don’t know if he recognized me, but I started walking faster because I was worried he might. We never had a proper goodbye. He asked for a closure before and even contacted a friend to talk to me one last time, but I decided to cut things off completely. He looked the same as before, and I honestly hope he is doing well now.
After about an hour and a half of waiting, our group was finally complete. We talked a lot because we only see each other about once a year, so we had many stories to share.
At one point, one of my friends jokingly teased the waiter, and another friend told her to stop. But she wasn’t actually angry — that’s just the way she talks. We’re already used to it. 😅
Later, we discovered a restaurant called Next Gen, a 24-hour restaurant near Festival Mall. I would recommend most of the food we ordered, except for the sinigang na isda, because I could tell the fish was frozen and not fresh.
Overall, the food was about 8/10, but the service was quite slow. We ordered around 8 PM while waiting for our friend, but the food wasn’t served until 9 PM, which felt like a long wait.
Still, I really loved their Thai Basil minced pork and Singaporean pork chop. The restaurant serves many kinds of cuisine — Filipino, Korean, Thai, Spanish, Singaporean, and Chinese food. We also ordered japchae and dessert, and by the end we were all very full.
We finished eating around 11 PM, and then one of my friends, Jen, gave each of us an invitation to her upcoming wedding this June. Congratulations to the future bride! She met her American boyfriend online, and they first met in person in 2024. Now they’ve decided to get married this year.
Life really surprises you sometimes.
Some of my friends were a little shocked because they weren’t sure about the guy, but I told them that sometimes love happens that way. Even if you don’t see each other often in a long-distance relationship, there comes a moment when you just feel that the person is the one.
It’s hard to explain, but as someone experiencing a long-distance relationship, I believe it’s true. Sometimes you just know.
Congratulations, Jen! She said she hopes to have a baby soon, and I’m sure their baby will be so cute 🩷
After that, we walked around near our old workplace and remembered the times we spent together from high school until now. Even though we don’t meet often, whenever we do, the feeling is always the same. We’re always happy spending time with each other.
I can still feel that I’m a little sleepy now since I went home late and didn’t get enough rest. Work today was stressful, but at least last night made me happy — and that’s enough.
Have a good day, everyone. 💛
February: A Month of Love and Lessons 🌷
Hi, February 🌸 I just realized that lately, I’ve been writing only once a month instead of writing more often. Life has been quietly busy. Work has been demanding, and there’s still so much to do at home. Our house is still under construction, so everything feels a little unfinished and slightly chaotic — but slowly, little by little, it’s coming together. And I guess that’s how life is too. This month, I tried playing the lotto for the first time. I got home early on a Friday night and thought, “Why not?” I honestly didn’t even know how to play properly, but somehow I got 3 numbers out of 6 — which I found so funny. Maybe beginner’s luck? I didn’t try again though, since I usually get home late and the outlets are almost closed by then. Still, it was a random little adventure that made an ordinary Friday interesting.
I was also invited to be ninang again — another inaanak added to the list! I guess I’m officially collecting godchildren now. 😅 February is the love month, and it felt extra special this year. So many people I love celebrate their birthdays this month — especially Papa, who turned 60. 🤍 Such a beautiful milestone. We celebrated simply at home because I couldn’t take leave from work. But even if it was simple, it was full of laughter. We took so many photos and even convinced Papa to do a TikTok challenge! I helped him with the props and posting it, and seeing him enjoy the moment made my heart so happy. Now we’re planning to do a birthday TikTok challenge for every family member this year — a small, fun tradition that makes celebrations feel even more special.
After three years, I finally visited the clinic for a medical check-up. I was honestly a little nervous, but when I asked the dietitian about my results and found out I’m healthy, I felt so relieved and grateful. It reminded me that health truly is wealth. No matter how busy life gets, taking care of yourself should always come first. This month also taught me something important. To be careful when choosing friends — and even coworkers. There was a misunderstanding at work that started from something so small but suddenly became big because of hurtful words. It made me realize that in the workplace, you have to be wise. Not everyone is meant to be close to you. Sometimes, you are the only person you can truly rely on — and that’s okay. It’s not about building walls. It’s about protecting your peace and choosing your circle carefully.
February was full of love, laughter, random adventures, and quiet lessons. Maybe that’s what growth really looks like — soft celebrations, small realizations, and becoming a little wiser than you were before. 🌷✨
Dear Universe,
If I never get successful because I have a lot of fears, may you atleast allow me to be happy for having a lot of love
The Month That Ran Faster Than Me
I honestly didn’t realize how fast the days were passing—because before I knew it, the first month of 2026 was already over. January came in hot and hectic. Work kept me so busy that I barely had time to breathe. I was coming home late almost every day, working long hours, and wondering where all my energy went.
On top of that, we started constructing some parts of our house this year. Which sounds exciting… until you suddenly don’t know where to sleep anymore 😂 Our usual place literally disappeared for a while, and moving around felt like a mini adventure every night. Exhausting, but still something I’ll probably laugh about in the future.
Despite all the chaos, January still gave me something worth celebrating—two years with my loving boyfriend 🤍 Two years already! Let’s stay together forever, okay? No change of heart, no exit, no plot twists please 😂 I really hope next time we get to celebrate it together. I love you.
This month also reminded me of something very important health is truly wealth. I became even busier when my boss suddenly got sick while abroad, which caused delays and unexpected stress at work. Around the same time, my high school friend’s father passed away due to health complications. Listening to her talk about her dad broke my heart. She shared how grateful she was that she got to spend time with him last year, even if work only allowed her a short time. She never imagined that life could be that short. She told me something I won’t forget: “Spend time with your parents. Konti na lang ang time nila dito sa mundo.” That hit me deeply. As January ends, I realize that no matter how busy life becomes, I must make time—for my family, for the people I love, and for myself. Work can wait. Deadlines can move. But time with loved ones can never be replaced. Another month has passed, and I’m taking this lesson with me: Take care of your health. Don’t stress too much. And always, always make time for family. Hello, 2026. Let’s do better from here. ✨
Welcome, 2026! 🎉
I’m officially ending the first day of the year with a very full stomach—because yes, I ate a lot 😂
I wanted to start the year healthy, but let’s be honest… Mega Noche had other plans. So much food, zero regrets! Haha.
At midnight, I also joined Las Doce Uvas de la Suerte, a tradition that originated in Spain in the 1880s 🍇. It’s believed that eating 12 grapes—each one paired with a wish—brings good luck and prosperity for the year ahead. As I made my wishes, I hoped and prayed that 2026 will be kind to all of us and that we finally achieve the dreams we’ve been working so hard for.
My two-week vacation is officially over (huuhu 😭), but I’m honestly grateful. I had time to rest, recharge, and reset. Now, I’m ready to return to work feeling fresh and motivated. Let’s do this—because a little rest and a lot of effort bring us closer to our dreams, right? 😆
I’m truly hoping that 2026 will be gentler, happier, and easier than the year before. I also want this year to help me discover more good things about myself and grow in ways I never expected.
I have so many plans for this year, and I’m excited to work on them—slowly, intentionally, and one step at a time.
Happy 2026 to all of us! 🥂
Let’s work hard, enjoy the journey, and chase the things we truly want to achieve. 💖✨
