Glasschild

This page is dedicated to being my families glass child. As I search the internet, there is no writing that speaks out to me about the experience and struggles of being this child. So, I have taken it upon myself to write about it so that hopefully readers have something they are able to relate to and they won't feel as alone. This is a feeling I have experienced more than ever in the last week and I believe that it is time to talk on it. I hope you all enjoy the content.

Convo early this morning before the year 2023 ends...

Wala tayong handa?

-Wala ata

Bili na kayo don baboy dalawang kilo

-Si kuya ma baka meron sya ma

Dapat nga binibigyan nyo na kami ng magandang buhay. Natapos na kayo sa pagaaral

-Sorry ma, pinipilit ko naman nagtratrabaho ako, di lang pumapabor sa ngayon yung swerte, binabayaran ko din mga kautangan nyo kaya wala akong nagiging extra pag umuuwi :(

Sa susunod wag na kayo umutang ma malaki tubo.

- bakit saan ba napupunta ang inutang? Sa inyo din, dito din naman eh. Wag nyo ako pangaralan.

Ma di naman pinapangaralan, sinasabi ko lang sana makinig din kayo. Puro na tayo utang. Wala ng peace of mind dito sa bahay kasi araw araw may pumupunta hinahanap ka yung utang mo daw. Di niyo pala nakikita effort ko na inuunti unti mga kautangan nyo na di niyo sinasabi saken. Magugulat nalang ako araw araw iba iba tao pumupunta.

Lord kayo na po bahala saken, alam ko in time magiging maayos din lahat. Sorry po if na feel ko yung ganito na di pala proud pa si mama saken. Sorry Lord if di na meet ni mama yung pangarap nyang magandang buhay sa mga anak nya na napagtapos nya na.

'Just hold on, I will lead you home.'

Say hello to The Glass Child, aka Charlotte Eriksson!

The Glass Child is a swedish singer/songwriter now residing in the UK doing what she does best, and what has made her that one artist you can listen to over and over again.

Charlotte does do some amazing covers on Youtube (Theres a brilliant Britney Spears 'Born To Make You Happy' one), but that's not all! She wrote a song called 'I'll Never Tell' to raise awareness of Domestic abuse and mental illness. The Emotional, heartbreaking and realistic lyrics are what make this such a wonderful song, and the video adds to the emotion.

Another one of her covers that has to be mentioned is a song by Counting Crows called 'Round Here'. It is undoubtedly the most beautiful version of it I have ever heard. With so much emotion and conviction it's not out of the ordinary to believe she wrote it herself. Not only through this song, but through some of her original work as well, we can see how hard she has had to work and struggle to make it to where she is now.
