It took me a minute to decide but I like how Willow went back to wearing Black frames for her glasses. Because the Gold frames were like a way to stand out and show people: this is me, new and improved, version 2.0, and all that. And it worked.
However, what For the Future taught us was that there wasn’t anything wrong with the old her. She didn’t have to overcompensate for who she was. She didn’t have to leave the old Willow behind. It was ok to embrace her and I think that the Black frames she wears in Watching and Dreaming at the end, reflect that. Plus the new shape is very flattering on her face. I love them.

I know I got my first pair of glasses when I was in second grade (a really long time ago) but I still clearly remember the that I felt cheated that I hadn’t been seeing the crisp leaves on trees as they were seen by everyone else
What do you think would happen if Clark Kent went to get his passport photo taken? He would have to take his glasses off for it.
also this was sorta older discourse, but people who don’t need glasses wearing glasses as an aesthetic isn’t “ableist” and calling it such is just stupid. like you’re literally watering down a term to be offended about something super harmless. we have bigger fucking fish to fry, dude
*cleans my glasses on my shirt even though there’s a cloth specifically designed and created for cleaning glasses literally two feet away*
I love it when someone says “can I try on your glasses?” and then “how do I look?”
Like buddy I don’t have my glasses on you might as well be on another continent asking me how you look I have no fricking clue give those back
