A quick braid on Glaumur as he was cooling off the other week. In other news, I was curious yesterday as to how many children Glaumur has, tolting all over the world. I don't know much of his history, and as he is a 23 year old stallion, I figured there should be some babies elsewhere than Vermont, where there are about half a dozen or so. My cursory google search revealed his offspring are as far as Norway and Iceland- I found some photos of some of the horses too- they all have that friendly face like him.

Announcement.

From now until January 1st, Glaumur's name is officially changed to Jinglehorse.

Glaumur somehow knew right where my run was going to end and it was great to see him as I cleared the last big hill. Love living at the farm!

I'm mostly on tumblr for house or photography inspiration, but, since I have a horse, I occasionally look through a few horse blogs. I think this habit will be short lived, however. It seems as if many people spend more time arguing or "explaining" their viewpoint on horses rather than actually spending time with their horse. So, the only horse stuff from me you'll see will be photo reblogs or photos of Glaumur, who has no idea what tumblr is, but he appreciates all the attention from me he can get.
