Concept Art of the Gleaming River
The Gleaming River is a fast-moving mountain river that flows throughout the Dawn Peaks and is said to light up those mountains. It is crucial in Unicat’s story because the flow of the river is said to act as a guide for anyone lost in the mountains, but no one ever found it where it takes you. When Unicat’s first home was destroyed, she decided that the Gleaming River was the only thing that’d keep her from wandering aimlessly.
Unicat is depicted in this concept art as an optimistic kitten. She is on several smooth sunlit rocks that lead into the river, with frothing rapids and sparkling ripples that gleam in the sun.
