Brock is a solid dark gray tombstone-like creature. He is very large and has a wider build, and his front, sides, and back are all distinguishable by the clear-cut edges. His shape gives off the impression of a vertical prism, paired with a rounded top as the corners instead form smooth arcs. Brock has a shiny, polished appearance and feels very firm to the touch, and simply tapping him slightly makes the same sound that would come from tapping a nonliving, polished rock. He still has a smooth surface with the noticeable absence of cracks, as he is still in his prime. On his face, he has large dark green eyes that are almost always half-closed, and paired with visible eye bags that are the result of irregular sleep patterns. Because of his shape and species, he lacks feet, but in both the Lego and non-Lego styles, his arms appear as small floating rectangles. However, in the non-Lego style, they are always visible.
Brock’s personality contrasts Master Frown in some ways, while mirroring him in others. Similarly to Master Frown, Brock carries a very passive temperament, but he also carries a certain warmth and politeness that makes him easy to get along with. Brock considers himself to be ambiverted. His willingness to socialize depends on the overall energy he has, so sometimes he finds spending time with others to be energizing, while other times he is energized when Master Frown decides to let him have time to himself. Brock is also very flexible and open to changes, even last-minute ones, and is always willing to sacrifice some of his time so everyone is comfortable. Brock also cares deeply for others, especially Master Frown, but does not always know the best way to show it. Brock is also stable enough emotionally that not much really phases him, as he generally prefers to take more of a backseat to what life throws at him.
Brock is a homebody, who usually would rather be in the comfort of his apartment playing video games than being dragged along on Master Frown’s schemes. He usually spends so much time playing them that he loses track of time, resulting in a very irregular sleep pattern from playing his games until he cannot keep his eyes open. Brock’s love for video games is also something he incorporates into his creative side, in the form of him making gaming videos and streaming video games on his UniTube channel. His channel, under the handle BrockRocks93, has accumulated a wide audience among both Frowntownians and Unikingdomers, and he tries to promote it whenever it can. While Brock is primarily a gaming UniTuber, he has also branched out to other genres such as vlogging, and has attempted trending challenges. Brock’s other biggest pastime is baking, which he does multiple times a week.
Brock’s biggest weakness stems from his passiveness, as it resulted in a tendency to be a bystander. On an even deeper level, this largely has to do with the fact that prior to the Frowntown Flood of Hope, he and Master Frown were on opposite ends of the extreme, as Frowntownians were forced to live by the fact that either they are Doom Lords or are controlled by them, with no in-between. While he did not necessarily approve of Master Frown serving the Doom Lords, he never said anything about it due to having been conditioned to be a bystander. It took seeing how the Doom Lords were treating Master Frown that his concern for him began to take over and he forced himself to subtly voice his opinions. Brock, being as passive as he is, also struggles a lot with standing up for himself, and has struggled with this since he was a kid. This made him an easy target for bullies to pick on him, but this lessened after he met Master Frown, who protected him with revenge pranks.
On account of his species, Brock possesses substantial physical strength, able to lift things that are far heavier than him effortlessly. An example of this is how he can effortlessly toss someone as heavy as Hawkodile, and he also took advantage of this when fighting in the Flood of Hope. He would effortlessly throw other Doom Lords off of Frown and over long distances.
Brock is an incredibly skilled gamer, as playing video games is how he spends most of his free time. He is quite advanced at many games and navigating the mechanics they might have, and he usually sets the difficulty to hard. He has also speedrun a lot of games, and he often likes to speedrun games in his livestreams. Brock is also highly-skilled at baking.
By coincidence, Brock shares his name with Brock Gallagher, a director for the original show. Brock was given his name before Gallagher joined the show.
Brock shares a bed with Master Frown.
Master Frown sometimes has to drag Brock to bed with him, due to his tendency to fall asleep playing video games.
He has known Master Frown since elementary school.
Brock was a band kid, beginning from 5th grade up until senior year. He was an alto saxophonist. Brock mostly enjoyed participating in band because of how band kids are often thought of as geeky, so Brock enjoyed being around other nerds and bonding with them over a specific niche. He also did jazz band for two years in high school.
Brock primarily listens to 8-bit video game soundtracks.
Brock has a collection of figurines, which are merchandise of the games he plays.
