The season finale is finally here! Sorry for taking so long to recap this. Maybe I'm too sad it's ending again and there's no season 3 so far (i still have faith we'll get at least another season of TGP - a girl can dream, right?). The fact is I can't find anything to say about this episode, so I might skip most of it and talk about whatever I can think of. It's the freaking season finale, I should have plenty of things to say, but yeah.
Let's start by talking about everybody coming back again to support our Top 3 contenders:
Danali! Chaylin! Blichellie (actually, Blichael and a Blellie hug cock blocked by the editing)!
Group hug after Choreography with Zach and Brooke. Kinda sad.
Vocals with Nikki. I'll miss you, random dude of the best faces:
Video shoot. Say hi to Damian, looking like he came out of a Celtic Thunder performance:
Group hug again. So many hugs already. Like I wasn't having enough feelings.
I gotta say I like this video, but not as much as season 1's Raise Your Glass. However, it's kinda clever to end a season with a prom-inspired video.
Ali's final performance. She's amazing and definitely deserves to be there. I thought it was down to her and Aylin, to be honest, mostly because Blake didn't have a compelling story like the girls.
Blake's poem made everybody cry. I like it, I just wish it had a better ending than "I'm that guy and that guy is me". But who am I to judge, I can't even write a recap.
Aylin nailed her final performance. When I first heard she was gonna sing Rolling in the Deep, I was a little skeptical. But boy, did she prove me wrong.
Charlie standing up for Aylin. I have to admit I have a feeling this was sorta scripted. Not what Charlie said, 'cause I believe that was the real deal, but the whole situation that led him to intervene. I mean, everybody was talking about Ali and Blake, and he had to be the one to talk in Aylin's favor. Or maybe I just love a conspiracy theory.
Blake won, confetti fell and the rest is Ryder Lynn.
And that's it! Thank you guys for reading my crazy recaps and all. I actually gained some followers during this rewatch, so I hope you newcomers stick around! See you guys later. Bye bye!
So...does anyone else think that Ali's final LCP is going to be "Popular" from Wicked? Because after watching this promo (from 0:20 - 0:25), I'm convinced that it's going to be!! Which is exciting because her voice is absolutely perfect for that song. What do you think?
