neeew dark forest ref!! some characters had minor design or name changes, and also tawnyfoot got replaced by sleekthorn. the new dark forest spirit design is inspired by a combination of darkwood (washed-out sepia tones) and the void from hollow knight (white irises, black haze and motes)

i'm rewriting some of these characters a bit, so more info will be available for them on toyhouse once i finish doing that!

hi! been a hot minute, got sidetracked with dragons and furries lol. anyways i was messing with a design for timbertail for the family tree icons, and decided to draw him and a younger, prettier (but still so so mean) applepatch, haha

i've been obsessing over muted color's pastel ep and how well it fits these two, especially lilac lover (like come one fern's herb is literally lilac!!) and because of that i've had this in my wips for like a month lol
