I saw a figure sleeping on a bed of clouds in the evening sky. As I peered closer, I saw that the figure is a woman, almost naked dressed in only wisps of mist which clung to her skin like a sheer silver dress. The woman have short eyelashes and delicate features, her face rounded and full. Her fingers were hugging the cotton-like pillow woven from the clouds in which she was sleeping on. The sky around her was violet and orange, as the sun slowly set, basking the cotton clouds and the sleeping beauty in its warm glow. Soon, the sky dimmed, and darkness took over. Out of the darkness, stars slowly began to appear, glittering against the night sky as if someone spilled a thousand tiny beads of diamond into a sea of ink. I felt the temperature drop but it was not freezing, rather a warm chill washed over the area. Then it smelled salty, and that scent before a thunderstorm filled my nostrils.
I saw the woman stirring, stretching out her arms and legs like a kitten that just awoken. She yawned, and wiped her eyes before they opened, just in time for her to see the clouds below and around her suddenly lit up. I shielded my eyes as my vision became garishly bright, and the sound of thunder rang in my ears, loud and booming. The woman then jumped up, standing on her feet excitedly. She spread her arms out as if embracing some invisible force I cannot see, and then it began to rain. The rain was no drizzle: it poured and poured and poured until I was certain the ground below must be flooding. The woman was glistening, wet from the rain, her short hair damp. A storm was brewing all around her, and she was thrilled.
