S O How bout that cinematic?
RLY GOOOOOOOD
I always haaated the idea Sylvanas was actually trying to be a legit Horde warchief and was just “doing things her way”. I frikin HATED the speech in A Good War about “the horde’s children’s children will curse us if we don’t go to war”. I always wanted Sylv’s three statements in Three Sisters to ALL be lies (or at least for her to think they were all lies). Her yelling “For the Horde” in the BFA trailer was like... cool for her to banshee yell or w/e....but I was always kinna... [forced smile] about it. BUT YEAH IT WAS ALL BULLSHIT
There’s still things I’m not happy with in terms of the story- I really hate the very ideological crusade against “hope” and life, that’s SO zzzzz from a villain. Cataclysm Sylvanas had a very pragmatic goal in wanting to make herself strong and secure (and immortal) in making the Forsaken strong and secure. No lofty fighting for FREEDOM or HOPE or ANTI-HOPE or whatever. But ehh, maybe the writing is just extra flowery filler so that they don’t have to talk about specifics of things they probably haven’t decided yet lol. Overall as long as her actual primary motivation is to avoid true death for herself, it’s at least a little on track for me.
I also hate how much they’ve severed the entire Forsaken race from Sylvanas, but I’ve been disappointed with that since Before the Storm, so w/e, this update added things I like and the things I disliked stayed the same.
anyway SADDEST ORC IS DEAD HAPPY BREWFEST!!
AU where Rem is a literal pacifist.
Send Me an AU, and I’ll give 5 headcanons about it
Interesting!
-Everything up until Rem’s first hunting trip with her father Gregory happens just as it would MU. Though after taking the life of a deer, she feels extremely guilty. While she doesn’t stop hunting because she realizes the need for her family to eat and the prey vs. predator nature, the event still changes the young Remington in a profound way. She begins to question why Humans kill Humans.
-As Remington grows older, rather than bonding more with her father and following in his hunter footsteps, she begins to take after her mother more in her priestly footsteps. Trips outdoors are replaced by trips studying and pondering the nature of the Holy Light in the hunting lodge, eventually moving entirely to Northshire Abbey to pursue theological studies full time.
-Remington becomes a priest within Northshire Abbey fairly quickly. She quickly masters subjects such as mathematics, painting, alchemy, physics, botany, and poetry, becoming almost a Da Vinci-like figure in Human society. After the Dark Portal is opened, she serves as a healer, albeit an unpopular one for stating that much of the bloodshed can be avoided if the Orcs and Humans could simply sit down and talk. She attempts this and is nearly killed for it.
-After losing her faith in the Light in the wake of seeing the Scarlet Crusade use it on the Forsaken after the Third War, Remington explores both Light and Shadow in equal parts. She is a vocal critic of Sylvanas for using the Blight and the Forsaken philosophy of expanding outward from Tirisfal and warring on neighboring nations.
-Naturally, talking ill of the Banshee Queen lands her in a lot of trouble in Forsaken society. She flees to the Argent Crusade, becoming a full-time healer and mentor for other acolytes. Her surgery skills in the Argent Crusade also develop. Without a reason to leave the Argent Crusade, the Fence Macabre is never established, and Remington, due to never returning to the Undercity, never finds out her father is Undead. They live unaware of eachother. Eventually, she masters both the Light and Shadow after decades of study and meditation.
💚 What is your favorite sort of RP (specific genre, one-on-one vs group, rp events, ect)?
I think I answered this the other day, but time is relative and, well, what the hell.
I prefer one on one, but small group is great. Events are hard - like in real life, unless I’m there for a specific purpose or with someone I already know, I just get awkward and want to bolt.
Slice of life... unless there is a specific aim to the conversation, I have trouble just puttering around. I do get how it’s great for character development, and so I accept it and do it from time to time, but I love action. I love romance, with a lot of OOC communication and twists and turns. I do like me some comedy writing as well - that’s why I have Brassy and Zook!
So - long story short - I’m open. :)

I havent drawn a forsaken before but theyre just as fun as the rest of the horde races I’ve drawn so. hell yeah you funky little corpses
does your muse believe in soul mates?
No specific characters, so let's run the gamut!
Allerion: No. His soul belongs to the Light and only the Light is fit to keep it. He's so fucking obnoxious.
Cyri: Falls in (and out of) love with every third person she meets... Maybe every other. So soulmates? Hah.
Kelanthael: Without a doubt. He'd spent thousands upon thousands of years with his husband and when he died, the rest of Kel's life was spend anticipating seeing him again.
Khali: Yes, but actually no, but a little yes. She's in an open relationship with her goblin gal, but she's so head over heels for that gob and that gob alone that there may as well not be other people on Azeroth the moment she spots her. So, kinda sorta has her soulmate, but is willing to share?
Lliane: She'd never considered having one and doesn't really get it. But if you explain it to her, she'd say "Oh, so Teeree?" and that'd be that.
Varad: No. Next question.
Verac: No, but fate seems certain on reuniting him with a specific person.

OKAY FOLKS GET READY FOR A WILD RIDE
So, in Girl Genius, it’s established that it’s entirely possible for a person to be brought back from the dead, so long as the head is reasonably intact. We’ve seen entire bodies cloned (Olga), someone noting that a body is beyond saving because the head is damaged (Olga and Beetle, Martellus’s threats that his poison will liquefy a brain, the dangers of Hogfarb’s Resplendent Immolation, etc.), and a person being brought back to life as just a head, irregardless of the state of the rest of their body.
Now, there’s a character in Girl Genius called Klaus Wulfenbach. He isn’t evil, but he is a major antagonist due to his paranoia and being mind controlled by the main villain. This is him, with all the fun scars on display:
You see how the skin tone changes minorly by section? Yeah, hold on to that.
So, Word of God states that Klaus originally had two brothers, and I think he was the youngest. As a teenager, the three were caught up in a lab explosion that killed all three, and their mother, the Baronin Wulfenbach of the time, salvaged what she could, and sewed up what was left as a single person.
Given the repeatedly stated necessity of an intact brain to bring someone back to life or to create a Frankenstein-style construct, we obviously concluded that the mind was from one brother, and the rest of the body was bits and pieces of whatever she could find, something that the slightly different skin tones in that picture seems to support.
This led to the question of, well, which brother did the phallus come from? Is Klaus actually the father of his own children? Or is he the uncle, because the reproductive elements were salvaged from a different brother than the head was?
This is the Wulfencock question: Does the junk match the driver?
NOW
NOW PLEASE LOOK AT THAT EXPLANATION
AND UNDERSTAND
WHY “THE MIND IS COMPOSITE”
HAD THE ENTIRE SERVER SCREAMING
This is supposed to be impossible. Not once in canon have we had a suggestion that brains could be salvaged piecemeal. The brain needs to be intact. Anything else can be swapped out or regrown or bolstered, but the brain needs to be intact to save someone.
But apparently the body is “mostly Klaus” while the brain is composite (which, as a next-day question confirmed, is why Klaus can resist the wasp, and why he’s sure he’d notice if Albia tried to change his memories or mind in any way), which is the opposite of what we expected, because it’s supposed to be impossible.
Baronin Wulfenbach did the impossible with this, and she did it a good forty or fifty years pre-canon.
And that’s why she is now and forever a badass.
The Rule of Two
Do not attempt to master these magics alone. There is only one dark lord in this universe, and he will crush you underfoot. Do not fall victim to your arrogance. Combat it with education.
Pure fel--It smelled like sulfur and choking smoke. While Cesta Rosewood touted her ability to endure a variety of environments, she couldn’t help but cough every time she came back here.
She loathed coming to Dreadscar Rift, but she knew she was at least safe. There was no killing on these grounds. Anyone who broke this rule was promptly strapped to a post, incinerated, and their soul thrust into a gem where it would serve as the defecating grounds of the nearest imp swarm for all shitty eternity.
Her surroundings were bright. No need to use her imitated echolocation and no need to see through Voz’s eyes. She stepped confidently and briskly through the charred grounds and into the center of an intricate-looking runic circle. Only one display of power was needed to activate it. The elf snapped her fingers, green fire sparking from the fingertips. The ground disappeared beneath her, sucking her in. And a mere fraction of a second later, she was spit out straight onto her feet on one of the adjacent rocky islands.
