Sonic-is-gone new ending footnotes.
some things have changed from the original story.
-At the end of the scrap brain zone the MC gets distracted by something outside of his computer. As they investigate they aren’t aware that a random black pit appeared underneath the characters inside the game which scares the MC so much they fall to the ground and hit their head.
-It takes them a minute to collect themselves as they crawl to their computer and use their chair to get back up to their feet. Noticing that they are in a level they’ve never seen before; it’s a dungeon..
-As the MC reluctantly moved forward the zone changes; it became more destroyed and decayed as vines and spatters of blood started to line the ruined walls. As they continue forward the bones from different species take up space on the floor. -The zone seems to stretch on forever before the screen fades into obscurity as the lights start to break in the area that they are in, causing the MC to move in almost pure darkness.
-After somehow finding a checkpoint the game's audio just cuts before loud crying can be heard; MC takes off their headphones and goes to their door but they could hear nothing; only to realize once they got back to their computer that the crying was coming from....Shadow.
-Becoming confused at the scene developing in front of them; because they know that shadow doesn't usually show emotions...especially fear.
-Unfortunately MC had to push through the level after they weren't allowed to back track; reaching a room that had a giant metal door....and the body of eggman.
"Why did I have to pick up my grandfather's work...going to that ruined lab was a mistake! I don't know what I have unleashed upon this world...all I know is that it has some form of goal...to whoever finds me...just leave...I'm not worth saving." [this is eggman]
-Reaching the door goes into a cut-scene: revealing the grief-stricken faces of Shadow And [G]granite causing the MC to panic. Only to be brought back to the screen once one of them called out sonic's name.
-As they look back at their computer the screen pans up as the MC has to stop themselves from getting sick.
-Sonic was hung upside-down from the ceiling with some form of leather or dried skin; he was extremely bruised and battered; his torso was cut apart as his face was almost unrecognizable...-But then something in the torso opened as two giant hands started forcing their way through his small frame.
-That's when the screen goes black and the entity makes itself known...Its name is Nexatore and most shocking...Granite's father. He starts to explain why he's done what he's done because of what 'HUMANS' did to his family..
.-But then the screen returns to a different level as the prompt shows up; "RUN". The MC leads Shadow and G through the level as you can see the giant hands coming in from the edge of the frame.
-At the end of the level there is a warp ring that gives the MC a bad feeling but as the hands were closing in they had no voice but to make the two jump into the ring.
-The screen faded to black as now the screams of Shadow could be heard; MC was in full panic mode as they tried every button that they could think of but nothing was working.
-When the screen came back however Shadow was now just like sonic and G was nowhere to be found; MC noticed that they were playing as a blank slate before all three characters turned to face them before the MC passed out.
Once the MC woke up they found themselves inside the world back at the beginning of green hills; turned into a mobian just like the inhabitants..
-They decide to move forward through the level where they ran into tails.
-Tails was standing up ahead looking down at the pool of blood that wasn't there before his ears were pinned to the side of his head, as the MC got close they could finally see what Tails was looking at....
-It was another paper... it was written in blood this time and the handwriting didn't match any of the previous pages.
"They're gone....I'm so sorry...Shadow is gone....Sonic...Sonic is gone."
-Looking closer at the paper the MC could see that it was in their handwriting, even being signed by them. They were so confused by the whole situation that they didn't realize that something was still watching them from the shadows.
