Y'all I finally ended my little break from going through Mariah Carey's discography and I listened to Glitter. Sighhhhh...I hate to say it but I do not like it. At least not really.

Like I was kinda sick of it 8 songs in. It is so freaking noisy.

Also this is not necessarily a complaint this is just a me thing. It's more sexually charged then what I've listened to so far. And that's not a bad thing. But I am lowkey sex replused. It's harder for me to listen to sexual songs. Sorry!

Throughout the album I wanted her to be by herself more. Everybody and they mama was on that album and they were irritating me. Idk. Speaking of everything sounded like remix. Like there was an original version of this song I'm listening to that I like a whole lot more. I've never been a big remix girly. Also don't say I just don't like rap or rap on MC songs because that's not true I've liked it everywhere else.

And I never thought I'd see they day were i wanted more ballads on a project. Usually I want more upbeat songs. Not here. And I wanted less whistles???? What the hell is going on here? I love them whistles even when they are unnecessary.

Based off of what I heard about the album I thought that i would like it more. I heard it was more experimental. I was like as long as she's not going country I'm probably gonna like it. I heard it was a mess but y'all also said that about Rainbow and she was good just not her best. Speaking of rainbow a lot of the songs sound messy like "Did I Do That?" And I don't like that song soooo it's starting to click for me (as to why I don't like Glitter)

Maybe it'll all make more sense when I watch the movie. Which according to almost everyone, the movie is a mess too so maybe it'll fit together better. I keep telling myself it'll grow on me but in order for it to grow I have to listen to it again....

You may think I'm being dramatic (cuz I am) but this is the first time i don't like a Mariah Carey album. Please support me through this hard time.

Favorite songs: Lead the Way, Reflections, Didn't Mean to Turn you on. (I would say "If We" but the men on the song was pissing me off)
