I'm having a really hard time with this scene I've been writing this month, and I'm worried my brain will try to shut off and I'll loose interest. I've legit been at a stand still on these seven pages for like 3.5 weeks.

Been drawing like crazy, cause I just can't get the chapter right 😭

But if I get comments, even if the comments don't say a whole lot, it really really really helps my inspiration. 🙏🙏🙏

Kind of a vent but not really haha

My spouse has been trying to read my fic, and like.. it's been weeks. I even gave them my screen reader to listen to it instead, but they said they're having a hard time. Cause they're mostly a yumeshipper and don't really read stuff that is shipping.

Which I understand in the same way that I don't read self insert stuff cause I'm a shipper shipper.

Idk, I guess I'm just sad cause they LIKE slow burn stuff.. and I know there is a LOT of lead up in my fic, but I promise it's worth it.. they haven't even gotten past the reunion concert. And like- that's when it gets more interesting.

I'm feeling a tiny bit embarrassed, probably cause it is like.. 80,000 words of.. not a whole lot. 🥲

And them being specifically a Branch stan and no one else doesn't help...

I'm so grateful for the 5? 6? Readers I have. But I see why I don't have more due to the long windedness it suffers from. ^^;

Is reading it worth it to you guys? Would you have read it at all if it hadn’t been a 6 parter to begin with?

Is the slowly burn even really a slow burn if both the characters don't know they're pining for 80% of the fic??

Idk.. I'm feeling kind of dejected, I guess. XC
