He watches, tense, as Leon fills in the date and then flips back through to sign both copies. Connor already pre-signed everything even though his lawyer hates it when he does that, so once Leon’s done that’s it, Connor’s contracted a professional dom. Signed himself over to be put down or whatever, in the stupid hope that it’s going to be different this time.
Ten years after the fall of the Dark Lord, Hermione Granger leads a life of self-imposed obscurity, that is, until the day Headmistress Minerva McGonagall is murdered and a certain 'hero' is responsible.

He's always watched her. He can't help it. Merlin help him, he's been fucking trying though.
She hates him. He's a vile, bigoted arsehole. Of all the people who have made her feel small, who have made her have to fight and scrape and claw for her place in this world ever since she was eleven, he's the worst of them all.
But when things take a turn at the Yule Ball, Draco Malfoy decides he's done fighting himself, and Hermione Granger is left floored, struggling to understand this new, strange version of him.

Falling Dark by scullymurphy [250k, E]
It's a year since Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy parted in Italy with promises of love and fidelity. The Battle of Hogwarts is over and Voldemort is dead. And although the price paid was high, Hermione is ready to start the rest of her life, and her eighth year studies, with Draco by her side. No hiding and no shame.
But when Draco finally arrives at Hogwarts, it's obvious that things are very wrong. Why is he acting so strangely? And what happened during the long months he lived as a double agent, passing secrets from the Death Eaters to the Order?
No one is talking, but Hermione will get to the truth, even if it means breaking her own heart in the process.

5th year is underway. Voldemort is back. The Order is straining under the pressure, and Hermione is honoured when Snape chooses her to brew the Wolfsbane Potion — with Draco Malfoy. Now, forced to work together over a cauldron nearly every day, Hermione thinks she might go mad — if they don't kill each other first.

Voldemort gives Draco Malfoy a task, but it isn't killing Dumbledore. In the summer before sixth year, a reluctant Draco shows up in Hermione Granger's muggle suburb to warn her that he has been sent to kill her parents. Everything changes.
The story of how two sworn enemies learn of something far more powerful than hatred: devotion.

Crumple: Aftermath by MissiAmphetamine (Kaleidoscope) [232k, E]
What happens in the aftermath? In the wake of Hermione's capture and imprisonment, she and Draco, having escaped to the Order, must somehow find a way to heal.
This is the long, painful, imperfect journey of two people in love - through their consuming trauma, guilt, the judgement of those around them, and the memories of suffering they wish they could shed. But despite the pain, Crumple: Aftermath is ultimately focused on a reverence for healing, trauma recovery, redemption, and the love of two people who are utterly devoted to each other.

This is a story about coming into one's own, a meditation on the twilight of girlhood and the violence of crash-landing into womanhood. Follow Hermione as she navigates through the quagmire: Saving the world, getting top grades, falling in love, lust, and a whole lot of trouble, and comes out of it hopefully (at least) partially sane.

Things We're All too Young to Know by eevans [208k, M]
Hermione Granger had been asked—and agreed—to do many absurd things since learning she was a witch, usually involving Harry Potter. This long list included, in no particular order, smuggling baby dragons, being placed unconscious at the bottom of a lake surrounded by merpeople, and traveling back in time to fly an escaped convict to safety on the back of a mythical creature. But returning to a Death Eater-controlled Hogwarts pretending to be Daphne Greengrass may have been the most ridiculous yet.

Malfoy's handsome face was contoured into a condescending smirk. "No faith in that giant brain of yours, Granger?" She looked up at him defiantly. "Maybe I don't have faith in you!" she said, raising her voice. Malfoy only looked at her. "You'll find I'm very surprising." Dramione AU, Year 6 with a slow burn and a killer twist. House Pet by ninabinaballerina [417k, E]
After a dark curse, the wizarding world is left barren. Facing extinction, the Purebloods subjugate the muggles, searching for the rare muggleborns—the only witches able to reproduce.
Raised in the Nott household as a pampered pet, Hermione is forced to enter the Trials as she comes of age—a competition created for pureblood wizards to claim a breeder. Determined to win her, Draco Malfoy only knew two things: she belonged to him, and he’d destroy anyone who tried to take her.
But the cries of the enslaved muggles pierce through Hermione's comfortable life, causing her to reexamine everything she thought she knew about her world and the people in it. She soon discovers that the ancient call of magic and vengeance cannot be denied.

Hello, hi, it's been a while since I drew Imodna, eh? I drew this for my Death Stranding AU that I'm taking ages to write in hopes it'll push me to write the second chapter faster. One can dream, right?
Man, they look so cozy I'm actually jealous :')
Oh and if anyone's interested, you can find my fic here!
This was the more fun idea I had for Iron Steed as sort of a "cover," based on what Rose sees in her Mold Vision. (Somehow she doesn't find the horse scary, though it/who it represents is friendly to her so....)
I had to use references for the horse as I've not really drawn one, at least not for a long time. I fiddled around with Karl's face for so long then realized it doesn't matter as you barely see it and the horse is the main point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have a...different kind of intro for this fic below, as I already posted the "official" summary earlier, and I find these character summaries below actually give a much better idea of the overarching vibe/conflicts for the central characters:
You're a mutant, a former vet, a cult survivor who escaped, but your mind is still stuck there; the witch and her coven still haunts you. You're a mess barely holding it together, until you meet an old friend. He helps you out, even risking his own life due to your volatility. Then, your friend leaves, asking you to look after his family even though they rejected him. You can't keep the promise, let them be consumed by a haunting from your past. The niece keeps trying to reach you, you're never there. You fail her, over and over.
You meet a man and his daughter. Curious, they're searching for something that could cure them, maybe even cure you. But you find out he's her husband. One of the witch' coven. He is the reason you suffer. Your life was traded for his, because somehow his life is more valuable than yours. And you get it it, damn it. You get it, you see the good in this guy, you'd done it too in her shoes. But you hate it. And the kid needs help, and you know you have what she needs, but you already failed once, and you HATE her mother. You hate who her father is, but you also don't hate him. And you're tired, unstable. You're a monster. You didn't ask for this. You didn't ask for any of this.
---------
You're a father, a mutant, searching for a cure, for a seed of hope your late wife placed that could perhaps save your daughter, save more people. But you struggle, you don't know where to go, you feel you keep failing her, over and over. Then you meet a man. He's...strange, but helpful, he keeps your kid safe, he helps you, you don't fully understand why at first. You don't know of the demons haunting him, the guilt and rage he carries.
Then, the demons become visible for you. You learn he's the ghost who used to haunt your wife, the man whose life she sacrificed for your sake, unknowingly to you. And you can tell he despises her, despises what you represent, but he also needs help, help you can give. But existing in the same space causes him to suffer, and you feel guilt, wondering why was your life deemed more valuable than his. You see the good in him, beneath the rough exterior; where you keep failing, he succeeds. He protects your daughter, he has what you can't find, he picks up where you flail. You learn to care for him deeply, and it hurts because you don't think you deserve to, you don't know how to fix this. It wasn't fair, you didn't ask for your life at the expense of someone else. You didn't ask for this. You didn't ask for any of this.
---------
You're a child, deathly sick, plagued by strange visions that warn you of dangers, keep you on your toes with every new person you meet. You're searching for a cure with your dad after your mom gave her life to give you two a chance. You are so young, gone through so much, but you put on a brave face because your dad is doing it too
You nearly get eaten by wolves, but there's a horse. an Iron steed, and he takes you and your dad in. He's odd, a little scary, but he's kind to you. You feel strangely safe around him, even though he's a stranger. Then you find out your mother hurt him. You struggle to grasp with the idea that your mother would do such a thing, but you also remember how sad she was, how haunted she felt sometimes. And you feel guilty, putting the horse and your dad in this situation where they have to exist under the same roof, because you're sick, and the horse can help, but looking at you and your dad causes him distress. And he's still kind to you, and your father wants to help him, but doesn't know how. Doesn't know if he'll ever let him. And you wonder if your mother was a terrible person after all, and if you're a terrible person too. You didn't ask for this. You didn't ask for any of this.
---------
You're a mother, a scientist who was stuck in a desperate situation, and let herself be used for purposes more nefarious than you realized. You tried to prevent it, to fix it, but it was too late. You still managed to get what you needed out of it, to save the love of your life, but at what cost? Your monsters were now out there, joining the chord of beasts haunting the lands.
You work, for years, you work to make amends, to find a cure, to fix it. You have a child, but she's born ill, sickness you unleashed involuntarily. You're haunted by your actions, by a man whose life you destroyed to save another. There were many such cases, but he's the one that doesn't let you escape, won't leave your mind no matter how hard you try. For years, he's there, haunting you, and it makes you paranoid. You end up separated from your family, you nearly die. You find out your ghost has found your family, and now you pray it won't hurt them because of you, because of your mistakes. He doesn't want to, but you made him like this, you made him unstable. You created this danger. You just wanted to save someone you loved, and help others do the same. You didn't ask for this, you didn't ask for any of this.
