Story - summarized
Loen finds you and tells you he has something for you. You are confused and curious, but he invites you to sit, have some wine and rice cakes, and talk. He asks you about Miraland, about the people you’ve seen and the places you’ve been to. As a mercenary, he travels all over completing commissions. He tells you about the three that inspired his newest design.
He was passing through a Pigeon village two years ago when the mayor invited him to stay for a few days. The mayor owned a vineyard, and he held a welcome party for Loen. When it was over, he stayed with a woman and her son who welcomed him with open arms. The little boy was Mok, and he was energetic and eager to be a mercenary to “fight for world peace.” When Loen leaves the village a few days later, he noticed that Mok had run away from home to join him. Loen remembered that Mok has a sister in Lodden in Apple Federation, so he headed that way to drop the boy off.
It wasn’t long before Little Mok got homesick, but Loen brought him to his sister’s apartment swiftly and safely. Loen didn’t have long to wait before he got his next commission: to deliver a letter from Lodden to a town in North Kingdom. The client had frail health, and he worried about his pen pal in North after the recent war there. Loen went in his place to check on the friend.
But when he got to the town, the friend’s house was abandoned. It turned out he was an old mercenary who had no family left and so struck up a friendship with the young man in Apple. The old mercenary died months ago, but he was determined to keep his friend happy, so he paid the town’s postman to keep sending the letters punctually. Loen wrote back to the client in Apple that his best friend was happy to hear from him and would write more soon.
Loen’s next stop was Ninir Kingdom, where he spotted a little girl watching through the window of a dance studio. The dance teacher came out and tried to shoo the girl away. “Deaf people don’t dance,” she kept telling the girl. The students finally came out and gossiped about the deaf girl, who shyly walked away. Loen followed her to make sure she got home okay - instead, the girl turned into a forest, where she danced in a clearing at twilight. Loen watched her dance for a while before leaving.
Now that he has told you about these three memories, he presents you with the Glittering Date suit: inspired by these three memories, by the simple moments, the passing of time, the depth of emotion. Loen finds joy and beauty in the small moments. No matter what comes his way, he will always have a happy aura around him. And now, he has one last question for you:

Connections
-Little Mok’s sister is Serena, Helz’ friend who used to be a model. Nikki meets Serena during the Night of Stars event when Serena signs on with Mercury Era, but you first hear about her in Helz’ memory for Morning Breeze.
-The first time that Loen started caring about the little moments is during the Reflection for Gleaming Vines. He was returning items that came from the fallen soldiers and remembering the friends from Pigeon he betrayed.
-In his Profile, Loen reveals that he is finding himself again and letting himself be happy after putting wars and fighting behind him: “I didn’t have to search for my identity anymore.” It’s why, when Mok said he wanted to be a mercenary “to fight for world peace,” Loen doesn’t answer him and goes back to picking grapes and admiring the bickering family.
Fun Facts
-This was one of the very first UR suits in the game, the others being Lilith’s Voice of Desire and Mercury’s Diamond Arena suit Elves’ Elegy.
-So far, there are four Reflections that feature disabled people: Hestia’s, both of Yuka’s/Jax’s, and this one. The young man in Lodden and the deaf girl are disabled.
-The poses used for the suit display photos are from the Motion pose Rosemary Serenade. It’s the only dance-related pose yet.
