Ive reached the level of exams where I'm doing a Marat and revising from my bathtub 😭

New blorbo time! I have decided I am adopting Komari Vosa. Canon is simply going to be used for nothing other than her name, and for acting as a towel to clean off the unfairness of canon. (This feels like a birth announcement and lets be real it basically is)

The only canon is MY canon... aka, headcanon :p and I will be sharing as I discover more about her so yippeeee

I’m B, (she/her) and am a young woman based in Western Europe. This is a LGBTQIA+ queer friendly safe space, while also being equally supportive for anyone who isn't a bigot.

While this is mostly Star Wars rambles (especially focusing on Sifo-Dyas, the beloved seer himself, and Dooku, his demented husband) there is also linguistic and classical rambles in line with my area of study. Always open for discussing anything nerdy awesome, especially if I can combine Star Wars with my work!

Looking For a Fic

So there was this fic that followed Padme (where the ship was skill Anidala) like using her story from the Queen's Shadow books and starts at the same place and time as Book 2 (so when she gets to the Senate and there is the droid that malfunctions and tries to kill her) but she is being mentored by Dooku?

And he steps in and redirects her from getting killed etc. He still goes bad, but its so much more heartbreaking and so much better written than the actual movies were, and the development and corruption of Dooku was soooo well done and moving but I can't remember what it's called for the life of me?

I remember Jenza showed up at some point, and I think that Padme meets Obi Wan after she is watering Dooku's plants?

So if anyone has any idea what it was called, any help would be massively appreciated.

And for anyone who hasn't read it and is a fan of Dooku or Padme, Id absolutely recommend it! Especially for people like me who love torturing their favourites, its absolutely heartbreaking and just a stellar read

Meeting People

Okay so is it normal that if you see 1-3 posts from an account that you like, to then look at their other posts?

I was arguing about this with a friend, and obvs thats considered strange on Instagram, but like.... tumblr doesn't count.... right lol?

Thanks to @purple-ant's help and advice, I have finally been invited (drumroll please) to the kingdom itself, and will now be posting and collecting all/any of my fics there!

Profile is AllMyGlitter, and I'll be uploading everything over the next few days and I'm so excited! Now I can read fics that were hidden before eeeeeek!

Characters Being Difficult

Okay so while this may just be because I'm new to writing fics - and this does, to be completely fair, also occur when writing my usual essays - but anytime I sit down and say to myself "hey! I'm going to write a short piece, maybe 500 words tops, and its going to be about x" the characters are then like:

"Okay cool, but what if, it was like, about y..."

Or, they are like:

"Hmmm what if we actually flipped the perspective so you have to rewrite the whole piece, but ~ opposite ~"

OR

"What if you wrote 1500 words. 👀"

And I'm not sure whether to tear my hair out or just accept that the characters are stubborn and have minds of their own. The answer will likely be a little bit of both

Just hit a new low... typing a fic straight into AO3 as I can't be bothered to wait....

To be fair if I ever wrote drafts I'd probably avoid this, but noooo why not just wait to be possessed by the character themselves
