this is the Gendarmenmarkt, in Berlin, Germany. it’s one of the prettiest squares in Berlin, but when my parents visited, it looked like this because it was being dug up. this is a running theme when it comes to their travels and they’ve very kindly passed on this curse to me
this is a first post so, hello. I’m Za, I’m in my late 20s, from the UK, and I travel to the US a lot. my parents are in their 60s and also travel a lot, and for the past 30 years everywhere they’ve gone, a significant landmark has been closed, undergoing refurbishment, or just not available for viewing.
