Globeweaver in Galapagos 07.001 NEVER GIVE UP. No matter what. I hiked 12.8 miles to the top of the highest point on the Santa Cruz Island in Galapagos. There were so many times that I wanted to turn around and go back but it felt so good to get to the top. Globeweaver in Galapagos 02.001 I found a mermaid. This place is pure magic. The infectious vibe can be found in every breath. Kids playing on every corner, super friendly locals, extremely eco-concious infrastructure. One of the first labs we have done was to analyze the correlation between invasive species and the surge of on land tourists. Of course we can observe correlation but can't define causality. I invasives travel by many modes; contamination, cargo etc. They actually do biological screening at the entry port of Galapagos for any type of spores that may do harm to the ecosystem.
