"You couldn’t handle my undivided attention."
She was probably right, he liked his alone time and besides that he often had work to do and doing work when his girlfriend was even worse than his cat for lying all over him was difficult. Also if she gave him her entire and undivided attention all the time he would never be able to use the bathroom again.
Then again he wanted her undivided attention right now at the very least. "I can handle it, right now, for a bit." For a bit being the operative.
"I think green is kind of whorish."
"I don't know I don't think it's that bad..." Okay so it was a rather short dress and she was flipping her hair a lot but Kyoko was sure that that didn't make the girl a whore. Maybe she was talking to the guy next to Togami instead of - No she'd touched his arm...
"Okay yeah, she's flirting but it's only fair to call her a whore if she carries on after she's been told he's taken."
[text] Do you want to go for coffee maybe? I mean when I'm not busy. [text] Because I've been really busy!! But I'm not next week. Or the week after. Or now even! Just before now, I was...
So she had been avoiding him. He had almost been insulted, stalking a guy into sleeping with you and then completely avoiding them was a dick move, something he wasn't actually above himself, well not the stalking part, but getting somebody into bed and then never contacting them again...
[ text ] Sure.
[ text ] If I have time. My time is very much in demand, but I suppose I can squeeze you in for coffee.
"I hate so much about the things that you choose to be.”
"Yeah, that’s what makes me so punk, you know?” Leon nodded, wide-eyed and serious. “But not all of it, right? It’s not like everything you are is so fun for me, either, Fukawa-san… don’t get all offended, though! I just mean, you’re kind of… gloomy, you know?”
"i saw him this morning and he just panic-moonwalked away from me."
The image of Togami moonwalking in any fashion tickled him. But still maybe he should at least try to keep a straight face and pretend to be concerned with the "panic" part. "Oh no" Yes that sounded really convincing and concerned. "I can't believe I missed it! U-uh...what happened this time?"
"did you just make up a theme song for yourself?"
The way she said it kind of made it seem like a bad thing. Actually, the way Fukawa said most things to Leon made them sound like bad things! But still, she was actually the party starting the conversation for once, which was a feat in itself. He was kind of pleased.
"Um, yeah? All great musicians have to start somewhere, Fukawa-san!"
He smiled broadly at her, but in response she turned her head away and glared at him out of the corner of her eye. Damn, she made it look like his music was dirty or something! He folded his arms and furrowed his brow at her before an idea struck him and his lips curled into a mischievous smile.
"Are you jealous, Fukawa-san? Do you want me to make one up for you, too?" He jumped into an air guitar position, swinging his arm around to strum the imaginary instrument. "She's got pigtails~! And glasses~! Probably even goes to all of her classes~!"
"i’m pretty sure I’m having a heart attack, and i haven’t arranged for anyone to clear my browser history."
Naegi leaned against the door and sighed. It had been at least 20 minutes since she’d asked him to come over and she still had him locked out of her room. Junko had let him into the flat and basically laughed in his face when he told her he was here to save the day…somehow. “Fukawa-san, please open the door. I look silly stood out here!” He wasn’t even sure if she’d called him over for something positive or negative. In fact now he was thinking about it, maybe she hadn’t wanted him to come over at all. There was a strange noise coming from inside the room but it didn’t help him figure out if this was good or bad. “At least tell me what’s going on. Is it something to do with the date thing?” She’d mentioned doing something with Togami, earlier in the week. Whether it was a real date or not Naegi had no idea but if she was in some sort of distress, he’d put money on that it being that. A small voice came from behind the door, “I-I’m pretty sure I’m having a heart attack, and I haven’t arranged for anyone to clear my browser history!” Finally an answer…that told him nothing! He smacked his hand against his face and spoke slowly, “A heart attack from good or from bad?” Another strange noise instead of an answer came from the other side of the door. He decided to try something different and just roll with her weird browser history comment. “I don’t want you to have a heart attack but if you let me in, we can write up a contract where I swear to delete your history and never mention it?" he put emphasis on the last part, hoping it’d help his case and get him out of the hallway. There was a click and at long last the door opened just a crack to reveal a very flustered looking Fukawa. “Y-You better mean that!” Naegi slipped through the tiny gap she was offering as entrance to her room and when the door shut again he turned and asked, exasperated “So what’s happened?”“I don’t know what to wear”All this for that? Girls were weird sometimes.
