This is a very good slideshow!! I've loved the Brew Crew a long time, and lived in Milwaukee for 3 years, and I learned a lot!! :) I'm going to check out the new one!
sometimes i forget people still look at these things, lol! here are some updates (for fans of other teams’ sake):
-Eric Sogard now plays for the Tampa Bay Rays, after a stupid good half-season in Toronto. What a comeback. -The only thing we’ve gotten out of Yasmani Grandal is on base percentage and a home run here or there. Yes, I know he’s hit 22. It still sucks to suck. -While there’s no chance of him being a repeat winner when his highest-ranked opponent plays for the Dodgers, one would like to hope Christian Yelich gets NL MVP this year. You don’t have to think his body issue photos are sexy to know the significance of his contributions. -Remember Brad Miller, that one guy we got to fill the hole Eric Sogard left last year? Yeah, he’s on the Phillies and has magical bamboo. -Eric Thames is back to being Eric Thames. He’s not fresh-from-Korea-look-how-hard-I-can-smash-this-ball Eric Thames, but he’s bounced back; part of the reason we parted ways with Jesus Aguilar. -Travis Shaw is not the same guy he was last year. He’s played 42 of 111 games in Triple-A San Antonio. Yikes. -Keston Hiura has a bad hammy, but Keston Hiura with a bad hammy is still better than Travis Shaw. -We got Ben Gamel from the Mariners in exchange for Domingo Santana, and he was quite the investment. He’s Charlie Blackmon’s strawberry blonde cousin (and Mat Gamel’s brother). -We DFA’d and released Jeremy Jeffress after a dumpster fire of a season. He couldn’t get anybody out. In July, we wanted to trade him to the Pirates for Keone Kela. I guess it was better now than later; we weren’t going to pick up his 2020 option, anyway. -I don’t want to talk about Corbin Burnes.
