i have finished book 16, heres my thoughts and theories from 10 minutes after i closed the last page.

!SPOILERS UNDER CUT!!

for those that dont want spoilers but want an update on The Suns Return, im still writing it but will delay more chapters release on a03 and in the communities i post it to edit it to reflect the new book more.

that book was really good, and definitely a return to glory. (no pun intended)

i love platypus and quokka so much, and i think kinkajou and platypus would get on like a house on fire.

THAT IS, IF KINKAJOU IS ALIVE?? THE QUEENS AND POSSIBLY OTHERS THAN JUST KINKAJOU (but cricket and sundew are still fine?) GOT MEGA POOFED OUT OF EXISTENCE.

my theorist brain says they got shoved into harmony as she hatched since she seems to be allwing; fyi shes my favorite, and yes i will be making keychains of all the important characters so keep an eye out for when i post the finished designs.

that, admitedly, is an insane theory and not true. the queens havent amalgamated into harmony because thats stupid, but if someone wants to make an AU about that, be my guest because its honestly a rlly cool idea.

(also, is monarch still there if the queens are dissapearing, as the silkwings have a government, right? would she count, or do 200 dragons just up and poof?? like, regardless of wether of if the queens are like harmony now, i think people would notice monarch dissapearing, so whats going on?)

i personally hoped the two mystery eggs would have been beetlewings so they can restart the tribe; we still have hope for the grey egg, which got kidnapped at the end, wtaf??

(i just rlly like beetlewings and want a good explanation to justify them in TSR (fic im writing) but im gonna put them in there regardless.)

i love sharpwings, and wildwings is really, really cool. definitely using that term and will be delaying the release of more suns return chapters to rewrite some areas to more convey the implications this book gives us, and i personally think Harmony will do great things (i hope shes the last pov in the final book) so some bits and pieces of her will be referenced.

i dont think the moment of mulberry being saved by the other two hybrid princes was what the prophecy reffered to; it was vague, but i seem to remember it being lower down on the prophecy and while that moment was climactic, it didnt feel like the prophecy moment at all to me imo. i was expecting some crazy powers or reveal, but we kind got what we knew regurgitated, and nothing at all as crazy as the prophecy made it out to be, so i think we are still waiting on the prophecy.

also, two more books atleast are going to be written for this arc and we only got the prophecy revealed half way through, so they cant complete the prophecy in just one book like that imo, so i think we will still be waiting, despite the title of the book.

im very excited for the next one, and i hope i dont fuck up the edits to my fic and harmony turns out evil, cause that would suck! :)

i just really hope queen glory is still alive. im so anxious for her. and kinkajou??? like???

i just uh

took a movie day to recooperate inspiration and motivation

i watched encanto (which i also love!!! this post is just a rant on a different movie.)

and uhm

interstellar

im not okay

i was foolish enough to think this movie would somehow fix me- and i wasnt... wrong.

this is the second time ive seen this movie and it just. destroys me everytime but really, it doesnt. this movie reminds me why i create, why i love, why i make stories and draw and make art, why i listen to music and why i get up in the morning

and maybe its stupid that a movie could make me feel like this but its ART. its art. its about the human experience and familial bonds and trust and all those things being severed and self preservation and the 'greater good' and so many things. so many beautiful things we dont understand and no one person can understand, and why we come together and create.

dont get me started on the science. i understood what i could and it still blows my mind.

i watched in tandem with @bonesawws, who had their first viewing of the movie. love ya! never doubt my movie suggestions again, lol.

i love you interstellar- thank you for reminding me why i create again.

guess who’s computer has been at the IT shop for a week and has to be wiped

you guessed it! Me! apologies for the inactivity, I have only been able to write for the past week. No drawing, no tumblr. It sucks and this is the second to last post I’ll make until more radio silence.

I’m going to have to redownload all my art apps, all my brushes, specifications, all of it.

this really sucks, and it’s the second time my computer has done it because of stupid bloatware and missing integral files for no reason.

I’m going to be back, and any and all orders made on my Etsy will still be fufilled, but I’m not going to be making posts for a while as I get back into my rhythm with art and writing. I have several works in progress's going on right now, and I have to find a balance there otherwise… I’m already starting to burnout!

I’m not dead, my computer just decided to die.

I’m gonna make a short post about iron lung, as I saw it tonight and then proceeded to check out the blood moon, honestly incredible experience- but after that, who knows when will be back! Soon in the sense of as soon as I get my computer back. see you then!

Still find it hilarious that everyone else did yk a few years w RtC and Kholby was just there like. the whole time. the man had dedication thats for damn sure.
