10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?
i can't say that anything has "haunted" me in any sense of what i might consider that to mean, but i have definitely had fic plots show up in my dreams and i'm like NAMJOON?!?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??? it's difficult for me to be embarrassed by anything, so i can't imagine anything will haunt me in the future, but i suppose only time will tell. i welcome my writing to try!
13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?
nothing in terms of subject matter is particularly difficult for me to write about, but there are certain topics that i am not interested in, such as writing babies/children into the plot, or having a goal for characters to be getting married. on a technical level, i do become exhausted by describing clothing, buildings, and action sequences, but that's more because i am stressed about getting all the details right, not because it's necessarily difficult, you know? i find a lot of things to be easy, but i think my favorite to write is playful dialogue where characters are getting to know one another and their personalities are really shining through. and i think i have a knack for angsty subjects haha. (sorry this is so vague but it's hard sometimes to conceptualize all there is to possibly write about.)
21. Could you ever quit writing? Do you ever wish you could? Why or why not?
no, i could never quit writing. poetry, prose, and journaling are large aspects of my life and sharing my silly little stories is one of the few things that bring me joy in this world. but i think one day (maybe in the not too distant future) i will no longer be writing fanfic and i will be focused on getting some original characters to print and trying to be a published author. i have had some poems published and have won a poetry award, and i would love to continue to do more of that.
