#gltwheretonext Very few things were as spine tingling as watching a haka (Siva tau) before a rugby game during the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Chiang Mai is a city in the north of Thailand. During my time there I spent a very memorable day at the Elephant Nature Park sanctuary. Rescued elephants that were previously mistreated are able to roam freely amongst the park’s 250 acres. Help me meet my friend?

Hi. I’m asking for an instagram like and post share because I really would like to meet my friend of 12 years for the first time.

Full story:

I snuck onto a computer when I was 13. I was somewhat desperate for friends so my online presence was really important to me. On the other side of the world a kiwi boy stayed up later than he was suppose to stay up.

We were in the “travel” chat room (myspace had huge chatrooms) and just happened to strike up a conversation. We had a lot in common, but at the time it was just cool that I could talk to a native New Zealander..and that he could talk to an American. 

Fast forward 12 years...I am now 25 and he is 26.

We were there for each other when: my dad died, his uncle died, abusive relationships, studying for college and graduated, working our asses off at weird jobs, tears, doubts about our future. All of this WITH NEVER MEETING IN PERSON.

If you like the picture above then we might have a shot at getting free tickets from NZ air to finally meet each other.
