I see a lot of people being manky about the new Rafa card.
I would love to disagree. I both like the new outfits they dropped and I do like the setup of the new Myth. I mean Raf's whole being is about war, struggle and fight.
This time it's just very direct, no cover ops, not plotting in the shadow. Just madness of the war as it is. And war is like an ocean, consuming and treacherous. So is art, so is his love.
And I am here saying that from my fluffy lil corner. But that is how it was always with EVERY LI. People just pick what their comfort is. The only reason I think it flopped, as Caleb's card (IDK about Zayne card sorry) is because of the tension in the fandom atp. Because of the fight (it's hillarious thay they put war myth while we are at war) we didn't get the hype buildup, we didn't get the anticipation. Because u cannot tighten an already tight rope at a breaking point.
We should not judge the card now, we need to do it after the mess is cleared and we separate this tension from the new card excitment/tension.
And this is the true fuckup we are in. We got stripped of the enjoyment of something that is good in the name of few kids that think because they can reach for the knife they are entitled to use it.
Once this is over and we can truly enjoy the game, the perception of the story will be different.
Stories change everytime you read them.
This will change as well.
