Gasp. "CAN YOU????? LUZ CAN YOU DO THAT PLEASE INEEDTOSWINGTHIS SWORDRIGHTNOW."
Very cool idea alert!!!
If Luz was able to find an air glyph, then she could combine the air and light glyphs to make an illusion glyph. This could be used in a variety of things but my idea would be to make them into little earrings to disguise the witch's ears!!
God I have to include this in my college au fic i'm planning
BRIGHT BLUE EYES SQUEEZE THEMSELVES in content, mirroring the slow blink of some affectionate feline as he goes up to investigate this young girl. RATHA, of course, was generally friendly toward strangers — even willing to approach, just as he was now! Cinder-colored nostrils flared, taking in her scent for a moment before pressing his nose into her hand eagerly. Did she have SNACKS on her? // @glyphcaster

“Simple.” Luz snapped her fingers. “Despite everything, you enjoy being around me.” The witch cackled, moving forward. “Now come on. We have some ruins to explore.”
THE GRIMWALKER rolls his eyes, traipsing after Luz with an overblown dramatic sigh. "If we get mauled by a pack of wild dire wolves, I'm blaming you."
His annoyance is surface-level, however--and his eyes go wide with delight and curiosity as the two of them delve deeper into the ruins. The stone stands high and arching, the brick pattern carved in a style that Hunter doesn't recognize from his history books. He runs a finger over the stone, pulling his hand away coated with dust.
"What even is this place?" He tips his head back, squinting up at the tall ceiling overhead. At first it seems like nothing of note, but--Hunter gasps, eyes widening as he takes in the faded paintings, intricate murals of the night sky spread across the stone above their heads.
"Woah," he breathes, reaching a hand up to scratch the underside of Flapjack's chin.
It feels like the stars are watching them. Hunter shivers.

“YOU CAN’T RUN FOREVER, WILD WITCH YOU KNOW I’M FASTER THAN YOU!”

Hunter’s head twitched lightly as the green growth on the back spread across his head. However he made sure to keep a good distance from the witch. She was useful yes but she was also a problem. A problem he didn’t want close enough to use her bard magic on. He needed her to fall for it for just a little while longer so why not guilt her a little.
“Luz, you trust me..ʀɪɢʜᴛ? You’re not going to just...ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴ me are you?”

“No no no no NO! You are not playing that flute now, are you trying to get us killed?!” He was doing that odd whisper yelling as he snatched the instrument out of the witch’s hand and held it away from her.
“That creature doesn’t respond to bard magic like any other demon. They react unpredictably, we need to think of another way to get it away from us.”

The wind got knocked out of her, her arms pinned above her so she wasn’t able to fight back with her spells. Luz glared at Hunter, breathing fast. “You think this is gonna beat me?” Luz breathed, starting to pull her leg up. She hoped Hunter didn’t notice. “You know wild magic isn’t all I focus on.” She jerked her knee up, kneeing Hunter in the stomach.
HUNTER GRUNTS as Luz's knee connects, but it does little to dislodge his grip. Luz may know how to fight, but Hunter has been perfecting his physical combat since he could walk--perks of being the Emperor's nephew. He lurches forward, pressing his own knee into Luz's sternum.
"Tired yet, wild witch?" He taunts, grinning wide. "Just give up, before you really get hurt."
