Oh.
Myths, nuts and beautiful hands
If there is one thing on the internets that is alien to me, it has to be the world of gaming, and Twitch. The only myths I know have dragons and magical worlds in them. This was, therefore, the first time I’ve heard of this Myth, guest on today’s GMM. But he was just perfect.
I’m notoriously famous for flinching at the smallest of scares, I’m the one who jumps up during a horror film, or gets heart palpitations when someone knocks me on my shoulder. I would so have failed at this game, without a doubt.
I’m already confused at the first round. My brain doesn’t work that way, if I think, I don’t move. If I move, I don’t think. These two things do not happen simultaniously. Also, that horrifying horn/whistle David had would have killed me.
You know what this game is missing? Heart monitors for all of the guys. And, apparently, a protective cup for Link.
This really wasn’t Link’s day. First, he almost experieced an outer body jewel experience, and then had to sit and listen to Myth complementing Rhett on his aesthetic. I admit, there is something very adorable about a big, majestic man with all that hair and beard calling wolves woofs. It’s similarly pleasing as seeing a firefighter holding a kitten. When I hear Rhett talking about wolves, I think of puppies.
Whoever built the first Jack-In-The-Box created a monster. (Excuse me, while I google the history of these diabolical toys. Oh wow, they’re from the 15th century!) I didn’t expect anyone to run from the door with all those boxes lying around. And, of course, Link messes things up. I think Stevie telling Link to sit down may be my new favourite thing. If Chase-in-a-Box didn’t make him flinch (it did), Stevie’s tone of voice surely did.
“Link, SIT THE F*** DOWN!”
Stevie, 2020
Rhett and Link have beautiful hands, as we all know, but I somehow feel validated after hearing Myth spontaniously compliment Rhett for his. Link kind of earned to be left aside eating nuts and looking like a sad doll by ruining the previous round, but I do feel sad for him.
I haven’t actually checked on IG, if any nut-on-nut videos have been posted there, but by the sound of it, that may be the wrong site to check. But I must wonder what kind of meetings take place at Mythical, since we already learnt that Rhett is willing to meet up anytime to take his clothes off, and now Link has his own nut-drop meeting in the conference room...
This post is already overly long, so I’m just going to end this by saying, that as much as I’m a flincher, I also love wooden boxes and spiders, and even at the risk of scaring myself repeatedly, I would love to own that box. I’d just keep opening it and screaming at the spider like Rhett. And I’d love to prank other people with it.
Oh, and...a snake in a can. Is that a euphemism for something?
