LMAO [ X ]
listen the bitter tone at the 'beaming. you were beaming' is almost absolutely some kind of jealousy or resentment or god knows what im going insane here
love, you and i are on the same page there. he was like, trying to act bitter but then he totally wasn’t acting at all and his weird dead fish hand was the most catty shit ever and he was scowling and when he said ‘beaming’ on instinct like that, my first thought is that’s the word he’s always ascribed to that image…
edit: his frantic lip twitches immediately after he says it. kill me.
jealousy
Link had certain tells when he was jealous. In front of others, he crowded close to Rhett, even closer than normal. He let his touches signify to anyone watching that Rhett belonged to him: a hand lingering on his arm, or fingertips pressing into his lower back. Once they were alone, he expressed his jealousy in other ways: hands tightly gripping hair as his hips drove his length deep into Rhett’s mouth, or a steady mantra of possessive proclamations in time with the sounds of skin slapping against skin. And Rhett? Well, Rhett didn’t mind any of that one bit.
An accurate portrayal of their thought processes. I'm sorry I had to.

Angst and Jealousy.
Link didn't mean to react the way that he did. He had already seen the photo of Rhett when Jessie sent it to him. But for some reason in that moment, it flicked a switch.
He didn't mean for the storm cloud to roll in on him, to not hide whatever this feeling going through him to be so visible to everyone else. Link could already imagine the comments rolling in about Rhett. About how good he looked.
The problem was Link didn't know if he was jealous of the comments about Rhett or if he was jealous he couldn't make them himself.
His mood change didn't go unnoticed. He tried to play it off and continue, however he found himself retreating into the safety of his hoody.
As soon as filming was done, excusing himself as quickly as possible, leaving Rhett to discuss anything with the crew.
He doesn't know why the photo of Rhett brought the myraid of reactions from him. He looked good. He looked great. He could be a model. Maybe he was holding Rhett back in someways. Maybe he could be something bigger than what they are. Maybe it was that he wasn't in the picture next to Rhett the dredged this up ill feeling.
Link sighed as he slunk down onto the couch. Regretting not bringing Jade to work. Now filming was over, he could feign a headache and go home. Retreat to safety.
But that would only bring more questions that he didn't want to answer.
Rhett walked into the office and silently sat next to his friend.
"I don't want to talk about it." Link mumbled.
I wouldn't even know how to start.
Link quickly moving the show along when Craig implied that he and Rhett had been kissing earlier. Your crush is showing, Link.
