*** His heart was already broken when he asked Link to sit beside him. Even he wasn't sure if he was ready for this. This would change a lot of things but at this point, they had too much to lose if they'd keep going. Link knew that too, it was just that someone had to say it out loud. But the other thing was, would they ever recover from this? Knowing that their relationship changed from something that it was meant to be to something that was suitable for everyone around them but not themselves.
They never wanted to hurt anyone. But they would if this wouldn't stop.
He couldn't even look at Link when the words came out of his mouth. It would crush him to see his heart breaking too.
