whisper
Sangster’s footsteps were light as he made his way to one of the few people whom he could call a friend. Such a label wasn’t enough to ensure that he would prioritise her safety as much as he would his own in times of need, but he could at least consider and that was better than nothing, He had recently invested in a bicycle, which made travelling around the city much easier than before. Of course, being at Gold Bay on a mere bicycle earned him strange looks but Sangster had enough of them tossed his way on a daily basis that he had grown accustomed to them. The soil softened his footsteps once he was past the gate of the garden. Sangster didn’t have to look very far for Victoria despite the fact that she was all the way in the back of the garden; it was too small. Still, it was impressive how she managed to turn this small plot of land into an array of colours and scents. His nose tingled and he resisted the urge to sneeze. Sangster didn’t possess much knowledge on gardenology or whatever the study of plants was called but he recognised the type of flower that Victoria was tending to with intense concentration. Keeping his footsteps as silent as possible, his smile turned impish as he closed in on her. Placing his lips beside her ear, he whispered, “What does everyone have on their face? Tulips.”
