Watching Gundam 00 again, and just arrived at the reveal of some of my favorite 'Grunt' units in all of Gundam.

While a bunch of Zeon grunts rate higher on my personal scale, and the GQuuuuuux Guncannon, Guntank, and even the various new Zakus are fueling new levels of obsession, for a long time, my absolute favorite was the GN-X.

The GN-X is essentially a Boss Grunt, powered by the same technology that makes the Gundam of their series so formidable, and that strength turning the tide against the protagonists, directly leading to the events that cause the timeskip for season 2. Even after the protagonists power up, GN-X units and their upgraded versions remain a legitimate threat in groups, and there's always that flicker of anxiety when they show up, thanks to their victory at the end of season 1.

These guys may be impossible to customize well, even in a Gundam Breaker game, but I have a soft spot for them.
