Today's thoughts go to Neville.
Neville, the sweetest character you could find.
Neville, who had a horrible past and a lot of problems over the complete series because people thought him untalented, not really capable of anything.
Neville who loved plants, his friends, and his family.
Neville who ended the war and became a hero for speaking out against Voldemort, for chopping off Nagini's head. Finally showing all of them how much he's worth. Giving Harry the opportunity to get rid of Voldemort thanks to his own backfiring curse.
Neville, who will be devasted when he learns that Nagini was a cursed woman all of a sudden. Neville who wouldn't have killed the snake if he knew, but try to find a way to safe her without hurting her. Just like Harry had done if he had known.
I'm so angry, so sad, and I won't accept this fact as Canon. This is wrong on so many levels.
I'm ignoring everything that comes out of that woman's mouth from now. She won't take the magic out of this story for me anymore. I don't even know why she's doing shit like that and I really don't want to know.
We all wanted more of the magic we grew up to love, but JK lost the magic somewhere between the tweets she wrote and the money she got.
I'm abandoning her. I'm staying with the fandom, we do it better.
