This is entirely unrelated to whatever the anon fight is but as an outside i'm curiious to know what your thoughts on trans characters in fiction generally?

I usually find them kinda annoying but that’s bc they’re normally accompanied by a subplot or speech or at least several lines on trans ideology nonsense. If there was a trans character without that, I’d have much less of an issue

How would Meg + Apollo’s kids react to seeing Apollo’s GNC swag when he can actually choose his appearance

Ok I got a couple of asks about being GNC or genderfluid, so I decided to just compile all my headcanons about that into one ask.

First, I headcanon Apollo as a GNC male. I know a lot of people hc him as genderfluid, which like, absolutely valid, but I really like the idea of him being the "epitome of man" that he's mythologically stated to be, while following no gender roles. Apollo says you don't need to fit into society's arbitrary rules for manhood to be a man, and he's fucking right about it.

I'm torn between Apollo changing his form a lot after the trials or him keeping it to one consistent look, but either way he looks GNC as fuck and has all the swag.

Meg, who in my mind is definitely at least also GNC if not just agender, absolutely loves this. I've always had this headcanon that Meg might try to imitate Apollo's style as she grows up, bc like, her older brother looks badass and she wants to look badass too. It's sweet and they have matching jackets and dresses because they're sweet.

I'm betting there's only like, one and a half of a gender between Apollo's seven kids, so they all appreciate their father's non-conformity. Apollo has definitely talked his some of his kids through a gender crisis before (and many a sexuality crisis, while he was at it) so they all know he's like, 1000% supportive.

Apollo has also never had a kid who was not queer in some way. He is the Spiders Georg of parents. 1 in 10 kids are gay, but that's only when you kick out Outlier Apollo, who has thousands of kids who have all been queer. It is a running joke on Olympus that one of the many things Apollo is the god of is sexuality and gender in all forms, and he just lost the paperwork to make it official under all of his domains and responsibilities.

🫂 A friendship headcanon

I think Kazemaru would be pretty good friends with Midorikawa. We've seen them hang out outside of practice before and I think personality wise they'd mesh pretty well? They're both also known to be pretty fast so I think it'd be fun if they sometimes race against each other or something!

📓 A headcanon about their hobbies

Outside of sprinting, which I'm convinced he still does in his spare time he wasn't in the track club if he didn't at least enjoy it, I think he'd be into rollerblading as well. I personally love rollerblading and I also love projecting onto characters but I think it would suit him really well! It allows him to go even faster than he can just running. I think he'd initially try it out under the guise of it being "soccer practice" (endou syndrome is strong in this team) but then he eventually just really starts to enjoy himself and get into learning how to do more tricks with it. It eventually just becomes something he just likes doing for fun and he gets REALLY good at it too.

Ooh this one was kinda hard! I think Kazemaru would be the type of person to do gestures instead of physical contact. He doesn't strike me as particularly touchy but he'd do things like make breakfast in the morning or buy gifts for the people he loves just because. I don't really know what people do in relationships lol I'm aroace..

👽 A headcanon about a weird quirk of theirs

He HAS to run 3 laps around 5he field before the start of every match. Yes it slightly decreases his staminahe doesn't care. He's convinced it gives the team good luck (the one time he didn't was their first matcg against gemini storm, we all know how that went)

I already very existensively talked about how I think he'd be one of the first players in inajapan who'd be able to warm up to Fudou. Other than that I think Max is generally just close to most og raimon members, particularly Jin and Handa. He's usually seen hanging out with Handa but I also think he's been friends with Jin even before joining the soccer club. They were classmates before joining the soccer club and they both joined at the same time. Coincidence? I think not! I imagine he ended up mentioning Endou running around with his big sign to Jin and they decided to both join the team afterwards.

📓 A headcanon about their hobbies

I saw @marmolao 's hc that Max sew his sleeping hat from I think it was a bedsheet, I 100% agree with that. To add to that I also think sewing is something he does to destress. Probably one of the few hobbies he's tried that he didn't immediately drop, maybe the hat he wears could be the first thing he's ever sewn? Idk just spitting ideas. I really like the idea that he does a lot of diy-ing when it comes to the clothes he wears, he tries to be so cool with spiked bracelets made of ripped up jeans and covers his clothes in pins and patches. And then he wears that cat hat and all of the coolness wears away instantly.

I headcanon him as aroace, bc again I really like projecting on characters. That being said he still has a platonic love language. I think he enjoys making little things for his friends. Like little trinkets, things that they can keep on hand. That'd be so cutee

👽 A headcanon about a weird quirk of theirs

I. I don't think he's capable of parting with his hat, it's definitely a comfort item, but I also just think he hates having his head exposed like that. Like it feels Wrong not having anything on his head, which is why he has one specifically for going to bed.
