Since it’s international hyena day here are some facts about Gnoll’s hyenas no one asked for!

Gnoll rescued them from poachers who killed their mother when they were just cubs, due to this they aren’t able to live in the wild.

He raised them on the road since he was traveling, it wasn’t as difficult since he has experience with large animals but raising anything on your own is difficult.

In most scenarios the hyenas are about a year old, Gnoll isn’t sure when they were born exactly so they have a birthday week instead of a day.

They both have names from Gnoll’s culture that fit traits they show, Gnoll named them when they turned 4 weeks old and started to show more personality.

Cha’tima is the smallest but loudest of the two, his name means ‘The Caller’.

Bidziil is the largest and Gnoll suspects him to actually be intersex due to his oddly large size for a male hyena. His name means ‘He is Strong’.

Gnoll can fully communicate with his hyenas due to being part animal himself. He was able to teach them a manner of things, some important, some just for fun.

The hyenas refer to Gnoll as their ‘Pa’ though it’s rare someone else can understand them to know this.

Gnoll would never put his hyenas in harms way and slightly babies them. The thought of his precious hyenas getting hurt is enough to make him cry. They are in a way his sons and would do anything for them.

The hyenas are called “The Bois” sometimes by Gnoll, some people assume his bois are human children, Gnoll doesn’t care to correct it.

The bois are very social and friendly to all humans and animals but Gnoll still airs on the side of caution when letting them meet new people.

Both hyenas are scared of Gnoll’s chicken named Sallie-Mae after she pecked them for chasing the other hens on the ranch.

Gnoll’s two horses, Etu and Achak, are actually friendly with the hyenas and are often seen running around the large field of the ranch together.

The hyenas are also good with his cats and they take nice long naps all curled up together.

Both hyenas are allowed on the bed as long as they are clean. Usually found curled at his feet together or on either side of him in a big cuddle.

Both hyenas have learned how to help Gnoll when he is upset or having a panic attack, usually they lay on top of him until he calms down.

Gnoll feeds his hyenas by hunting or buying meat at the market, they have a very thought out meal plan Gnoll sticks too, but can’t help but give them some chicken leg treats now and again.

If someone made Gnoll choose between them and his hyenas, he will pick his hyenas every time without hesitation.

Gnoll doesn't get sick often but when he does it hits HARD and hes bed ridden for a whole day unable to do much and he HATES IT.

I can only imagine the pure panic Julian goes through when this happens for the first time, he probably thinks Gnoll has some horrible illness but it turns out to be a bad cold. Hes just experiencing it at a rapid rate.

Then hes right as rain by tomorrow like nothing ever happened.

There’s so many dumb little spicy lemon facts about Gnoll that I know what to do with,

Like, he’s got four frenum ladder piercings that are super sensitive and will turn him into a mess if played with, or that he can use his tail to fuck himself with a dildo, he loves having his thighs fucked, his ass slapped and played with, he can and will get off from having his face fucked, and he loves having his tail pulled. And these are just some and mostly when he’s feeling bottom.
