Spring In Your Step

Chapter 5: Bee

Characters: Mikorin and Mayu

Rating: G

Prompt: Bee

Mikorin didn’t dare move. He didn’t dare to even blink. Not while the intruder was here.

The invader flapped it’s tiny wings as it continued to crawl on the ground.

“J-just stay where you are,” Mikorin stammered. “D-don’t come any closer or I’ll squash you.”

He got a buzz in return. Man he hated bees.

Mikorin mentally kicked himself again. He just HAD to open the window for this stupid little bug to come in and act like he owned the place!

Nozaki was good with bugs, but he stepped out to buy drinks. Hopefully, he would be back soon.

The bee twitched again. Mikorin would have back up, but he was already against the wall.  He could throw paper at it, but that would probably only make it mad.

“Ah, geez, just get back already,” he whined. “I don’t want to get stung.”

Suddenly, the door opened, but it wasn’t Nozaki that appeared.

Mayu stepped in, paused and frowned at Mikorin.

“Mayu,” he said with pleading eyes. “Careful there’s a bee.”

Mayu paused, and then slowly got the newspaper. Mikorin remained frozen as he watched with awe as Mayu set the paper down and coaxed the bee onto it. He then gently carried it to the opened window and the bee flew away in seconds.

Mikorin let his body collapsed on the floor. “Aw, thanks man,” he said as he stood up and grasped Mayu’s shoulders. “You saved my life!”

Mayu blinked as if he just finished processing something. “You were scared?”

Mikorin raised an eyebrow. “Uh yeah. Didn’t you noticed my terrified expression?!”

Judging from Mayu’s blank expression he didn’t.

“Why did you move it then?” Mikorin asked.

Mayu patted the floor. “It was in my favorite napping spot.”

“Your priorities are messed up!”

Why? Because of the plot and the characters. And because GSNK makes me laugh HARD, and TGP blew my mind. Honestly it was SOOO good... I’m still not over it. And BSJ because the AMAZING secret relationship and sweet interactions, oh and the dramaaaa!!

Could you recommend me any anime’s that might be even slightly similar to those?
