Politics involved Sebastian Stan warms my heart.
I think that at the end of the day, we're more alike than we are different. As much as I don't like to say it, after a point outcome is what matters. It bothers me that my colleagues can get so precious about doing what you have to do for the sake of what has to get done.
Anonymously confess something that your muse wants to tell mine.
"Confronting the necessity of action is beyond those that are insulated from consequence. Their arbitrary rules bind you to a slow process under the guise of morality and fairness, created by institutions designed to fail, over and over."
"There is never enough money, never enough people, never quite the right paperwork, and their hands are tied. You won't excel beyond what was deemed acceptable for you, because you are not meant to. Unless, you take things into your own hands."
Track #3-59: Go Rogue

Artist: Moa Lenngren
Original: Boss Manic Miner Bot by Daisuke Matsuoka
Length: 3:09
The Diggernaut's theme from Metroid: Samus Returns, which plays during its Area 4 chase sequence and in full during its boss fight later in the game, is a shocking piece designed to keep the player on their toes, just as the Diggernaut encounters do in gameplay. While for the most part an original theme, "Boss Manic Miner Bot" (as named in the game's files) inherits a motif that originated as the theme of Metroid Fusion's first boss, Arachnus-X, and which was also reused as the Berserker Lord's battle theme in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Diggernaut's iteration of the theme more closely resembles the thundering Berserker Lord version than the trepidatious Arachnus-X version.
The inclusion of this song as a remix is doubly ironic. First of all, the Arachnus-X version of the theme was already covered earlier in the album by Chernabogue and Viking Guitar, as a remix titled "Parasite Slasher". This, then, draws attention to the fact that Arachnus had a boss fight in the same game as the Diggernaut, but didn't reuse the theme that originally belonged to it!
With that in mind, this remix by Moa Lenngren emphasizes the original elements of the Samus Returns remix. Like Chernabogue and Viking Guitars' remix of the Arachnus-X theme, this cover primarily uses heavy metal guitars, but sets itself apart with the heavy use of electronic instruments like growly synths. This remix also keeps the main motif in the backing, as opposed to the earlier remix's approach of carefully outlining the melody.
I want to make it clear that despite my discussion of "Boss Manic Miner Bot"'s unusual origins, I really like the original piece, better in fact than the Arachnus-X and Berserker Lord boss themes it shares a motif with. This remix really gets it, too. This album has a bit of trouble with covering the same ground too often, most notably with the four remixes of the Federation Force title theme with no other covers from that game. However, this remix fully justifies itself as being separate from "Parasite Slasher", bringing out the best parts of the already excellent boss theme and setting itself apart from the earlier cover despite its similarities. Probably my biggest criticism is that it may be too similar not to the earlier cover, but to the song it's based on. But hey, that's just two cakes for me to eat.
