☕️halloween decorations (what are ur fave kind)

My fave halloween decorations are All Of Them

but omg i love that halloween dragon inflatables have become a big thing the past few years. in general i've never been big on inflatable decorations but..it's Dragons. the more dragons i see in my life the better. everything should be dragons

aside from the dragons, orange and purple string lights are super fun to see! silly looking sheet ghosts...roof-to ground cobwebs with giant spiders attached, skeleton guys just standing there, headstones with silly names like I.M. Dedd fdgsfd so many good ones i love seeing..and of course pumpkins carved into jack-o-lanterns, the eternal classic!! yesterday i saw a stoop where someone had carved a Mimikyu and Banette! really really fun c:

Oh im only about a third of the way through! But heres some pics:

I started off with making a paper ver to try out Shapes and then drafted it into a rough pattern - i refined that with scrap fabric tests and made a wire armature so that i can pose it when its done :D

As of now ive got all my fabric pieces cut out, i just need to sew them together!! (which might take a while, since im doing pretty much all of the fiddly bits by hand lol)

Once its finished ill put up a clean pattern in case anyone wants to use it :] and it should work as a plushie without an armature too, i just wanted to pose mine hehe

The remaining stages will just be sewing round the armature, stuffing it, and then shaving the fur down to the right lengths :3

Ill upload more pics of the proccess if ppl are interested!!!! I only started doing this on a whim cos someone asked for fr plushie patterns in the old oaks server xD literally all it takes for me to start a new project is someone breathing in my direction

i need to draw him but one of my worst/best ocs is Mercutio (previously Tim), a selkie who lords over all the others and collects the seal skins of any selkies that are convicted of a crime and banished to land. He wears so many he’s as large as a whale, has about 4 dozen of each limb, and has gained the moniker “The Emperor of 10,000 faces”. he is very fat

Do your dragons’ names follow any themes/patterns and if so does that play into their lore?

Not really. Mostly they’re just words or names I think of when I see them or like at the time. Oat’s name was bc just saying “oat” out loud is my favourite word lmao

Are you saving up for any big purchases right now?

Trying to get three (3) gem genes for Teguar,, I took a long break from FR tho so haven’t been saving anything for a bit
